This is such a wonderful little sanctuary on the hill with such amazing food and views. It was the perfect first stop on our Japan itinerary, giving us time to adjust and also explore the old town of Nara which was not too busy nor overwhelming, just perfect. Great to have a swimming pool in Summer but the private onsens are also there for the cooler months. The food and modern yet Japanese decor were exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Stayed in delux twin room with tatami floor. Quiet, spacious room and inconvenient location for sightseeing in Nara. The restaurant at 1F was excellent, too. Had dinners there and enjoyed it so much.

I loved everything about it! The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, the accommodations were wonderful and the food was fantastic! It was so great, we extended our stay there.

The Hotel is very stylish and modern. We rented the deluxe suite and it was tally worth it. The room was amazing and the views incredible. It's very well located as well, only 5min away from the Nara Park. The staff was also very friendly and even helped us get accommodations.

They let me check in early which is so amazing. No complaints except that you can’t leave your luggage here. Very clean and spacious. Has everything you need. Really happy I chose this.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating, giving us extra pillows immediately when we asked. The rooms were quite spacious and beds were comfortable. Location was central and an easy walk to the train. We didn’t end up using it, but we were offered a free pass to a nearby sento which was a sweet addition.

This is a charming hotel next to a large pond and within minutes of shopping and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and kind. Room was impeccable, the most spacious room I have stayed in Japan. There is a small but very comfortable and clean onsen on site. There is a Starbucks next to the hotel that opens at 8. Within 10 minutes of Nara park and the deer and 15 minutes of Todaiji temple. Also 15 minutes straight walk to JR train station and 7 min to kintetso Nara station, very convenient. If I am back in Nara, this is the hotel I would go to.

Best Birthday Gift Ever!!! This property is absolutely beautiful and the location could not be any better. Wake up to the deer right outside your window, and the temples are a short walk from the property. The staff are what makes this place so wonderful, they go above and beyond! This will be the highlight of your vacation.

Everything! The atmosphere was magical — peaceful, authentic, and deeply connected to the history of Nara. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The traditional dinner and breakfast were exquisite, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The location is perfect — walking distance to Nara Park and temples, yet quiet and serene. The room was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable
