CanadaWe chose this hotel because it’s a stone’s throw away from the Tobu-Nikko train station and the bus station that takes one to all the attractions in/around Nikko. You can also choose to walk to the World Heritage Shrines and Temples, which are about a 40 min casual walk from the hotel. What is useful to note is that most, if not everything closes at 17h00 in Nikko except for a handful of restaurants. Thankfully, there’s a 24/7 Family Mart within walking distance.

Very new and modern facility, beds were excellent, the soaking tub was a bonus, having a washer was great, the online instructions were good though the check-in process was a bit frustrating (be prepared). The room is plentiful for one person. The hotel had great dinner and breakfast that was included at the stay. You can walk around the hotel to view the Japanese garden, Japanese arts, and aquariums around the building. Finally, the service was excellent.
