The location was excellent in the center of town. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly. Very nice view from the pool and sky bar. The food was good too.

the family that owns the hotel is super friendly! the place is nice and quiet! they always gave us something tasty after our return back to the hotel, that was really sweet! the swimming pool is very clean and refreshing. We loved our stay here!

Beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. Gorgeous garden and lotus Pond and places to sit to just contemplate the beauty that Cambodia can now offer. Lovely pool and interesting and stylish decor using both old and new furnishings and garden pieces.

* A friendly welcome from Dina during check-in. She was sweet, friendly and helpful without being pushy throughout our entire stay at Royal Hotel. No touting at all during our stay. * A great scooter rental place is located just a few doors down from the hotel: LE Scooters. * Secure overnight parking for bicycles and motorbikes - there's a small locked garage across from the hotel. * This is an older building with a sort of retro character feel going on - we like that. The entire property was very clean and seemed in good repair. * Very close to assorted restaurants, supermarkets, the train station and some long distance bus departure points to other parts of Cambodia. Our Room, #203: * Clean, bright and comfortable with a window, curtains and private balcony. * Aircon worked good and ran quietly. * Two bedside tables, two chairs, a desk and chair, a wardrobe closet, dresser and mirror. Much of the furniture was solid wood and it was all in good repair/sturdy. * Refrigerator and electric kettle. * VERY comfortable bed and pillows - a rarity for us during our travels through SEA. Sheets were clean and fresh. The duvet was new. * Room was quiet - street noise was not an issue for us and guests were quiet and respectful of fellow guests. No construction going on outside during our stay and no bars nearby blasting music. All in all, very peaceful. * Bathroom with hot water from the electric shower. Toilet and sink did not leak. Cotton towels were fresh and clean. * Daily room cleaning was by request - you could put a "Please Clean" or "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.

The owners have hospitality in their hearts, and it showed in all they did to make my stay comfortable and relaxed.

The room was very spacious, very quiet.

Complimentary wifi, room comes with a mini fridge, complimentary water, all surfaces well dusted , floor , bathroom cleaned, mopped and rinsed. Towels , linens clean and well rinsed. I prefer wooden furnishings over plastic/ particle board/ metal. Pleased.

The ambience of the hotel is wonderful, and the location is excellent. One can easily walk to many places from there. The night market just outside is really fun. The breakfast is exceptional, and the roof restaurant is lovely.

The room was very big with a balcony overlooking the river. It was so nice we stayed an extra night. Good beds and AC. Convenient location to a large food fare,a market and Robinson. Also there is a very popular seafood restaurant next door and a Japanese place next to that

I had a wonderful time staying in this Hotel. I received a warm welcome and was treated very well. The hostess is wonderful. She is kind and helpful. The room is comfortable and well-equipped. The place is quiet and charming—perfect for a short break.
