Everything. But for sure number 1 was the staff. They were amazing and went above and beyond. My 5 year old son loved them and it takes him ages to warm to people. They played with him loads and showed him all around. He was so sad to leave them. The food was also amazing.

I have travelled to over 30 countries and this is definitely one of the top 2 accommodations I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I was picked up from the train station, taken back and forth to Ella town in the accommodation tuk-tuk, and enjoyed walking along the train tracks at the back of the property as a quick short cut to Ella town and to the waterfall and Adam’s Peak. The breakfasts on all 3 mornings were so delicious. From my balcony, the views were magnificent, and I could also see the waterfall. It was truly spectacular. It is the kind of place that you stay in and you wish you could stay there forever.

Phenomenal and warm service by staff. Property itself is stunning with amazing views from the room. cleanliness is a 10/10 and rooms are extremely comfortable and homely with all necessities readily available. Food was flavourful and delicious. The smell of the room and linens was a nice plus.

    The number one reason to book this guesthouse is for the views and hospitality. The owner and his wife were exceptionally kind. They helped my husband and I get to the Ella train station early in the morning and helped us greatly when our driver we had for 3 days suddenly left us. Our little corner of the balcony had a perfect view of the train and the 9-arch bridge. There were no bugs, and the beds were very comfortable! We also had a nice breakfast the next morning - the perfect start to exploring the town!

    Amazing place! Gorgeous views, peaceful setting with the sounds of nature. Cool, clean and comfortable room. Walking distance from the main strip, nine arch bridge and Ella train station. They also provide free tuk tuk service. And the breakfast is out of this world! Stay at least two nights in this magical place!

    The room was quite spacious, No AC but had an industrial fan that ventilated the room so was ok since the weather was pleasant. Breakfast was 2 options of Western or Sri Lankan. We ordered both options within our group and it was fabulous. Its a 5 minute walk from the Ella Train Station and a hop step and a jump away from all the cafe's along main street Ella.

    The place is at an ideal location, at a walking distance from the Ella train station. The hotel is close to the city center yet far enough to be quiet and not keep you awake from the loud music on the streets. The place was clean, had a hair dryer in the bathroom which was a pleasant surprise.
