Unforgettable Stay at Farm Villa Resort! Amazing location with easy access to Yala National Park. The surroundings are absolutely stunning — full of natural beauty and peaceful vibes. We stayed two nights at Farm Villa Resort and had an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a large balcony and even a private pool! We loved how much space and privacy we had, and the view of the paddy fields was breathtaking. You can even take a walk through the fields — a truly unique experience. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. One of the best parts of our stay was the full-day safari to Yala Block 5, arranged by the resort. It started early at 5 a.m. with a private guide who helped us spot rare animals and birds. The resort took care of everything — from a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast to a memorable jungle lunch. Everything was perfectly organized for a comfortable and exciting experience. The resort is also great for bird watching and wildlife lovers — even monkeys came to visit us near the villa! The food was another highlight — both breakfast and dinner were full of authentic Sri Lankan flavor. The large swimming pool was clean and perfect for relaxing after a long day. We highly recommend Farm Villa Resort to anyone visiting Kataragama or Yala. This was one of the best stays we’ve had in Sri Lanka — and we will definitely be back!

It’s an amazing property located within the center of Kataragama and surrounded by serene gardens. Ideal location for a family retreat and we throughly enjoyed our stay . Hotel staffs are absolute gem and very courteous who ensured every aspect of our stay are closely followed up and supported . Breakfast was amazing and had many varieties and the swimming pool was large and had a big area for kids which made my daughter extremely an happy guest .

Had to give a shoutout to the staff – they were absolutely amazing! Super helpful and really know their stuff. Whether you’re planning to visit the Kataragama Dewalaya or go on a Yala safari, they’ll hook you up with the best options at very reasonable prices. They even have someone who can sort out your “Pooja watti” for you. And if you haven’t pre-ordered food, no stress – they’ll get it delivered from a nearby shop in just a few minutes. The place itself is great too – clean, spacious rooms with hot water. For the price, it’s more than worth it. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, comfortable, and budget-friendly place to stay!

    This was our second visit.

    This was our second visit. The temple is definitely must see, especially if you are into spirituality. It’s an ancient complex where many high masters took severe penance. There is a cave like spot where Mahavatar Babaji received a knowledge from his Guru Sidha Boghanatar. It’s is a multi religious place, with exceptionally high frequency. There are a great guides who can walk you through the customs, important stories and locations. If in 🇱🇰 don’t miss it.

    Kataragama is one of the best places located in Southern SriLanka.If one would like to discover nature, wildlife and culture.. well then Kataragama is the best place to be in.Also if you are coming to SriLanka for the first time then you definitely will have to visit Kataragama because it's going to be an unforgettable visit for you which you will never regret.

    We reached a bit late on check-in date and they had our rooms ready. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Surely a great location particularly for tourists keen on visiting the Kataragama temple. Ample private parking space available.
