Great hotel with very unique design! I liked everything regarding this hotel! The room was cozy and was equipped with everything necessary. It even had iron with ironing table and coffee machine, which is very rare in budget rooms

Plush beds that feel like sleeping on a cloud and an excellent location. It was my first time in Oslo, and I wanted to pamper myself a bit. Karl Johan is a cozy hotel in a 19th-century building. Their beds are so comfortable that it was hard to get myself out :) My room was towards inner courtyard and it was super quiet which made my sleep even more amazing. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and extensive, with plenty of choices for everyone. The breakfast room has a beautiful glass ceiling that lets you enjoy your breakfast with full natural light and a sky view. Staff are very lovely and welcoming. If i ever come back to Oslo, then i would definitely stay there again!

    Beautiful road running through the centre of Oslo, with shops at one end (near the centre) and many bars hotels and restaurants - in addition to the shops - at the other (near to the Palace and Nattionaltheatret station) . Lots and lots of flowers displays plus trees running down the centre of the road, plenty of seating, vibrant and nicely busy.
