We took a boat tour of Doubtful Sound and walked from our property, via a nearby walkway, to the waterfront on Lake Manapouri from whence the tour commenced. Less than 200 meters. Well appointed kitchen.

We stayed in one of the cottages and despite its obvious age, found it to be clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. The nearby lake (Manapouri) was stunning. We had a wonderful experience meeting the locals in the local pub. Highly recommended unless you are looking for a 5 star resort :=)
