The hosts were fabulous and helped us with outing reservations, info on local busses, and airport transfer. We especially enjoyed fires in our fireplace in the evenings. Breakfasts were lovely and scrumptious. They turned on the TV for breakfast which first I was wishing they wouldn't, but instead of news or some other thing I didn't want intruding on my breakfast, there were beautiful vids with gentle music - themed to travel, etc, without adverts. It was lovely!

We felt like home right from the moment we stepped in. We were greeted with a smile and hot Turkish tea. We got help with information about local attractions and best restaurants recommendations. Our hosts Bugra even made an effort to find us Polish speaking guide for our trip to Ephesus. Very rich Turkish breakfast served on a patio amongst colorful flowers. All staff was very friendly, always ready to assist us. The location of Mary’s House is very convenient , just steps away from St. John Basilic and Ayasuluk Citadel, walking distance to ruins of Temple of Artemis, and restaurants. Short driving distance to all other attractions. I highly recommend the place and would gladly go back.

Excellent service. Nice and comfortable room for a family. The owner was very considerate and helped us everything. He made a homemade beverage which is good for sore throat-It was amazing, highly recommend to ask for his recepe ;)

    This museum was excellent if you enjoy history.

    This museum was excellent if you enjoy history. In fact we enjoyed it better than Epheseus itself which might sound bizarre. The only annoyance was they started locking up early and shooing us out when there was still 2030 minutes left at the end of the evening. This is common all over Turkey but it wasnt that cheap to visit so rather annoying.

    Lovely rooftop terrace overlooking St John’s Basilica site. Friendly helpful owner and staff. The location is up the hill away from the noise of downtown but still very convenient, a few blocks from the excellent Ephesus Museum and connecting hammam. Great to have a cafe on the first floor, with friendly staff to blend an icy drink.

    This hotel was one of the highlights of our visit to Turkey! The photos don’t do it justice, the hotel is spectacular, the views, atmosphere and staff are just amazing. Parking was easy, we walked everywhere, including to the St. John’s basilica, Ephesus museum, and temple of Artemis, great restaurants walking distance and quiet at night. The breakfast in the morning was great too. This is the best hotel!

    All. This house run by a very sweet Turkish family that you will feel at home when staying here. The room was lovely and beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and served beautifully. The host, Saziye and Dervise were so nice and helpful. It’s so easy to communicate with them and they are always ready to help you if you need them. The location is also near to some cute resto and coffee shops, and Ephesus museum. I really recommend this place whenever you are in Selcuk.

    Lovely quaint hotel. We all love the rooms and the garden where we had our sumptous breakfast. The location is so close to Basilica of St John and Ephesus Museum. It is also close to several restaurant, shops and walking distance to train station and bus/shuttle bus terminal. The owner was also so helpful. He dropped us off to Ephesus for free and also helped us arranged for airport transfer and a visit to House of Virgin Mary. We really enjoyed and loved our stay in Selcuk.

    The hotel is located very close to the Ephesus museum as well as within walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Since the hotel is located in a historic building, there were limitations on how they could renovate the space for hotel rooms and they did a wonderful job.

    This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from the Basilica of St John’s ruins and Ephesus museum. The room was clean and the shower water hot. If you’re looking for an amazing meal, Amazon Bistro Cafe is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We ate dinner there both nights (the meze plate is outstanding).
