So clean, amazing water pressure and hot water (which was needed after 2 days of skiing and snowboarding). The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. And close to everything. We walked to Safeway for drinks and snacks, MacDuffs for dinner as recommended by the front desk staff, and even walked to Heavenly Village. Speaking of the staff, they were all super nice and helpful. It made a great first impression. And then everything was perfect from there...I can't say enough good things about this place. You're right across the street from the lake, we were able to walk down to it even thru all the snow. The views are breathtaking. The pic is from our patio. We were on the 1st floor facing the lake.

Check in was smooth. Love the complimentary smores available at night. Room looks modern and new. Seems like they just renovated. Didn't explore much since we only stayed for one night. But it was walkable to the resort at stateline avenue with restaurants and casino, so not too bad. Didn't notice any public transport nodes nearby though.

    This is a wonderful area with many trails and some crisp...

    This is a wonderful area with many trails and some crisp swimming. You can hang out by the lake or hike up to smaller lakes. Views and air are mind blowing. You must, however, get there early. Parking is limited--and you will get a serious ticket for parking in a non-authorized spot. I would avoid it on weekends and holidays unless you pan to get there in the early morn. Make sure to pack a lunch as there is not a nearby place to pick things up. Also, bring one of your extra supermarket bags to be a friend and pick up anything in your spot that does not belong, bottle caps, plastic etc. Many do this and that is why the place stays pretty pristine.
