Hotels near Frick Collection, New York

Room dark - needed extra light which was quickly provided

The Mark has a wonderful boutique feel that makes the experience feel warm and homely rather than like a large hotel. I particularly liked the rooms, bathrooms and showers, which are very comfortable and well designed. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They are genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which gives the hotel a very personal atmosphere.

Staff, beautiful room with perfect bathroom. The room service and the cleanliness was outstanding too.

Old-fashioned good service all around

Great location. Very authentic and elegantly decorated ambiance. Kind and helpful service.

Amazing location and views, tasty breakfast

The best hotel to stay in NY. Location, service, safe and all. If you are able to afford this hotel please don’t hesitate. You will get reward.

Lovely staff, very accommodating and polite. Gave some good suggestions. Located 8-9 minutes away from Times Square, 15 minutes from Central Park and 1 minute away from the Hudson River. No luxuries however a family of four with two teenage children were more than comfortable and the fact a kitchenette is available with fridge, hot plate and toaster is great.

Clean, bed is excelent. Waffle machine for breakfast.

Such a well equipped hotel. Room was clean, modern and stylish. We had an amazing view of the city too. The staff are absolutely fantastic, so attentive and friendly. Housekeeping were brilliant. After a long day trekking round the city it was always so nice to come back to a clean room. The laundry facilities were super value for money and so was the snack shop. Breakfast was excellent too with a wide variety of foods ensuring it wasn’t boring each day. The staff at this hotel were constantly working, cleaning, maintaining the appearance of the hotel, enhancing our experience by providing hot chocolates and snacks like popcorn for us to enjoy in the evenings which was so welcome as it was very cold during our visit to the city. The underground station is only a few minutes walk away and it takes you straight into the city for a few dollars and there is a Costco a short walk up the road which was excellent for a cheap meal. Everything was excellent and I really can’t fault anything with the hotel. The area you pass through to the station is ok but not perfect, we never felt unsafe though walking through and we came through at different times of the day during our stay (at times incredibly late at night!). I really take my hat off to the staff though. They were just superb. They really made us feel special and treated everybody with such respect and kindness and were so attentive. Their attention to detail was a level above and I would gladly come back and stay here again for a trip to NY.

All was good for me. Was clean . Bed and the pillows were comfortable. Big mirow in the wall it's a big plus for me . Enough space in the room. staff were friendly. Good basic hotel for good price.

Very friendly staff throughout. Hotel very close to the subway & great value for money. Beds very comfortable. Free coffee was a bonus. There was some people loitering around the corner but they didn’t seem like any hassle or trouble and they kept to themselves, seemed friendly so the area felt safe unlike what I read from previous reviews.

Location, staff, tidiness, gym, bar

It was our second stay at the hotel and this time we got an unexpected upgrade to a double room apartment with two bathrooms and two amazing terraces on the 11th floor. Everything was just perfect and amazing. Thanks a lot for the upgrade!

It is very good and we loved every bit of it.

Staff are excellent from front desk to room service to waiters at breakfast. Loved my stay there.

The Location is exceptional. The rooms are sufficiently large and the staff was excellent, very accommodating and not fake friendly. Big compliment to the staff. Free apples in Big apple. Barber shop next street..Hair Samurai Kazuhiro insider tip...all our family want to stay for months.

it was all good. highly recommend the JWMarriott

The hotel was great, and had a perfect location. It was close to Central Park and we could walk around many other great spots in Manhattan. Staff was really friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. We loved staying there!

We stayed at this apartment during our trip to New York with our two little daughters, and the experience was excellent. The location is unbeatable, in a quiet and safe area of the Upper East Side — perfect for exploring Manhattan. The apartment is modern, very clean, and functional, with a fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, complete set of dishes and utensils, a large fridge, and even some nice courtesy details like coffee and filters for the coffee maker. Everything worked perfectly. The host was very responsive and kind throughout our stay, quickly answering all our messages and allowing us to leave our luggage after check-out until our taxi arrived — which was a huge help. Overall, it’s an excellent option for couples or small families looking for a comfortable, modern, and well-located place in New York City.
