CanadaFrom the moment we entered the Inn and spoke to the front desk person (Fred), we were treated very well. All of the staff could not have been more accommodating. The Inn was gorgeous and very clean. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view. Although we arrived in November and could not truly appreciate the grounds, it seems very well cared for. We also had a lovely meal(one of the best on our month long touring) at the Speakeasy. The breakfast, the following morning was also excellent (recommend the Eggs Benedict). Truly regretted leaving. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the Shenandoah Valley.

United StatesLet’s face it, Motel 6 is never anyone’s first thought, when booking a trip, BUT this location was where I needed to be and the price was great. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the comfort! I felt safe. It was quiet. Staff was friendly.

Each of the 4 of us was able to find a space we enjoyed for relaxing. Having 2 screened in porches was wonderful and unexpected. There were plenty of towels, the beds were comfortable, and the property was very relaxing and homey. I wanted to find a hotel that was somewhat historical, I did not realize I found something part of the historical hotels of America. I was splendidly surprised. The goal was to enjoy the time spent in the hotel, but to get out and enjoy the area. Which is what my 9 year old and I did. The morning we checked out we were both awake early enough to walk down the long drive way and catch the sun rise over the edge of the mountains.
