The hotel is a few week's old so everything is fresh and new. We picked it because it was excellent value for money. It did not charge resort fees. The pool on the roof is a good size and a good temperature. There are plentiful towels up there with a pool attendant constantly tidying. The sunbeds are comfortable with cushions and pillows and there are umbrellas if you want shade. The location was on Collins Avenue, a block from the beach and close to all the restaurants. I think this location at the top of the beach is more pleasant than further south where is can get a but rowdy. The room was large, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom really lovely. Great rain shower and instant hot water. The staff said hello every time we came in and out and there was someone to open the door for us. If we go back to Miami, we will definitely stay here.

The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. Love the location, which is why I have stayed there numerous times. Did not indulge in their excellent breakfast this trip.

    getting from port to airport is easy if you use the rail...

    getting from port to airport is easy if you use the rail system and get the correct train running the correct direction.There is a service at the port which take one to a shuttle which take you to the start of the rail. Ask questions and for $2.25 you get to airport. Takes 2+hours from port to airport

    We stayed overnight before a cruise so didn't really do much other than eat dinner and sleep. The port was okay and we appreciated the good organization and service by cruise ship companies who made port to airport transfers easy as well as the processing of cruise passengers during onboarding and offboarding. Would like to see more quality hotels that are budget friendly for those only in Miami for cruises though.

    One of the easiest cruise ports to navigate. Always easy to unload, find parking, and board the ship. Parking rates are reasonable. Entry and exit is easy. Stay near the port and enjoy Bayside Market before or after your cruise.

Lots of family friendly activities within a short distance & free transportation (Freebee) to these events right outside the Comfort Inn door. The Frost Science Museum & Aquarium with lots of hands on activities for the kids. Bayside ( a consortium of shops, food, trinkets, restaurants, souvenirs) is an excellent place food a reasonable meal.
