This is a hidden gem! It's a converted Victorian house. Our room was so comfy and spacious. They had fresh baked cookies when we arrived and more throughout the day. They also had a homemade breakfast- it was a breakfast quiche. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Friendly staff. Had a blast and wished we could stay longer. It it within a short walking distance of the Pier.

Fabulous hotel for our needs. Was just across the road from the Santa Cruz pier and the beginning of the boardwalk so lots to do within easy walking distance. The staff were amazing and so helpful with any questions we had, restaurant recommendations etc.. We arrived there on Thanksgiving Day after a long day of travel and were expecting it to be difficult to find anywhere to eat dinner on a day that is so "family" in the U.S.. Instead, the hotel manager and his wife had put on a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings in the lobby for anyone to enjoy. Never did we anticipate getting a proper turkey dinner that day, it was such a wonderful surprise. The beds and pillows were SOOOO comfortable, we got probably the best night's sleep we had on our whole 6-week trip.

    I loved the bumper cars! Haven't done that in decades.

    I loved the bumper cars! Haven't done that in decades. There's a train tour that stops at the boardwalk. The Santa Clara river is nearby which has a sunny walkway next to it. I was able to walk from my motel to the Boardwalk. Stopped for lunch at a family-owned Mexican restaurant. Homey and affordable.

    Unfortunately the rides were closed but the restaurants were open across on the wharf. It was nice that you could sit inside and outside. Outside they had the tiki heaters going and it made it have a nice warm atmosphere while eating.

    Love Santa Cruz and San Jose area.

    Love Santa Cruz and San Jose area. Have done all the wonderful touristy things in the past. Beautiful scenery fun all around. This trip was just college hunting for my grandson. He finally narrowed to University of Washington or UC Santa Cruz , he decided on Santa Cruz.

    Beautiful clean room, comfy bed, good size. 7 minutes walk from Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Food and shopping all in walking distance. I woke up not feeling well (an ongoing issue for me). Checked out at 11am, drove just a couple of minutes and realized I wouldn't be safe driving. I pulled over, called the hotel and they were able to get me a new room immediately! I will definitely come back here again 🩷😊🩷😊🩷 Very nice and welcoming staff. Thank you!
