Jennifer & Phil were very friendly, with suggestions on places to visit and eat. We dealt mostly with Phil up until the last morning, when Jennifer talked with us for quite a while about places to visit. The room and facility was very clean, the bathroom was large and spotless with great water pressure. The breakfast was delicious, especially the toast, although more on breakfast in the other section. Overall very positive, with a few minor quibbles.

Had a lovely 3 night stay. Easy check in, no reception area as such but there was a phone number on the door and we were checked in straight away. The location is perfect, quiet but in the centre of Stone and convenient for the many bars and restaurants which are just a few minutes walk away. Had a very cute bedroom (no. 5 I think), spotlessly clean and a nice shower room en suite. All the rooms are equally nice, the owner showed me round a couple of the ground floor ones which have access to a pretty garden. Great wifi too which for us was important. Breakfast plentiful, delicious and cooked to order, no waiting, it came really quickly. Bar and Restaurant are just across the courtyard. The Portuguese owners are absolutely lovely. I'd recommend to anyone and will stay there again for sure.
