Lodgings in Lajatico

Wonderful setting in an amazing location! Views are stunning, the apartment is big and comfortable. We stayed just for one night, but you can easily stay for a while as it is a good base to explore Tuscany (less than 1 hour drive to Pisa, Firenze and all the wonderful wineries).

Residence Ragoncino is one of the most beautiful places to relax and a great base (less than two hours drive) for exploring the towns, villages, and coast of Tuscany. The beautiful building, accessed from the main road via a cypress-lined avenue, is perched on a hill overlooking the surrounding valley, with distant hills, including the silhouette of the Etruscan city of Volterra. The apartment we stayed in, housed in an 18th-century building, consisted of two beautiful, clean rooms and a separate bathroom. The rooms were stylishly decorated, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Above the building is a lovely swimming pool connected to the small club house, while below the pool is a covered parking area. All of these facilities are integrated into the natural surroundings, with architectural elements enhancing the residence. The friendly and professional service complements everything.

Great terrace and a quiet place.

Absolutely inlove with the place and some of our best memories from Tuscany will be connected with this location and apartment. Stunnig atmosphere where we felt just like at home. Really nice furniture and gorgeous terrasse.

A gem in a wonderful and small “borgo”

Having our own space was great, it was private and beautiful. The goats were a plus for the kids to enjoy as we came and went.

Beautiful comfortable property for our visit to Tuscany. The rooms were newly updated and very nice. We were early in the season so the pool was not open yet, but you could tell the view from the pool area would be amazing. The restaurant was amazing, and the breakfast was my favorite of our trip! Anna was such a kind and accommodating host.

Beautiful location surrounded of hills and nature. It is really a place of silence where you can relax and find your peace. Incredible views and in short distance to Volterra or the Teatro del Silenzio to enjoy the concert of Andrea Bocelli, which takes place one's the year at Lajatico. The entire villa is fabulous : ) Far exceeded any expectations the pictures and descriptions showed ! Laura is the most wonderful HOST - gave us SO many wonderful suggestions and ideas where to go and what to see : ) If I could I would come here every year ... this is a true Tuscan GEM - in a beautiful village in the heart of Lajatico

The people!! Never met such hospitality. So kind and nice. We enjoyed the farm products, the view and the authentic house. The pool was extra bonus.
