My 7 y/o son and I stayed for 8 nights. It was such a perfect experience. Beautiful, exceptionally clean and centrally located. Every employee made sure we were taken care off. The room was very spacious given it’s in the middle of the city - and the view was amazing. Their free breakfast was also over the top. I was impressed how every employee took their job so seriously. We felt special! And every day they cleaned our rooms, even when we didn't ask.

The lake view is absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to be there on a Saturday night and the room was a front row seat to the bi-weekly fireworks (I was told they do them on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the spring and summer). At check in try asking for a higher floor!

I really liked its location because it faces the street and part of the river. Sometimes you can hear the outdoor subway, but it’s not bothersome. The room is fabulous - large, very well laid out, and everything looks new and clean, with some nice little gifts. The shower, the bed, the pillows, extra towels, the TV… everything was great. And it wasn’t too expensive either, especially with the Genius discounts from Booking.com. The staff was very friendly. Even if you need a microwave, they’ll provide one for you. You can park in front of the hotel in the designated area, although there isn’t much space. They can also take your car to the garage behind the hotel, where they give you a discounted rate of $59 per day. You can come and go from the garage whenever you want. Note: If you have any trouble connecting your streaming service to the TV from your cellphone, check behind the TV because sometimes the cables get moved. It was connected to HDMI 2, and HDMI 1 is usually the one that gets used.

My husband has Parkinson's Disease and I asked in advance for an accessible room. Upon arrival, we had already been assigned an accessible room. It was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was good both days. The staff was very attentive. My husband fell getting on the elevator on Wednesday, November 26th and Elena (desk clerk?) ran to his assistance and helped him to his feet. She was wonderful and very attentive and concerned. I would definitely recommend this hotel and not hesitate to stay there again if we're ever in Chicago again. Special thank you to Elena. I wish I'd gotten her last name.

It was so peaceful and comfortable. The rooms were very large and clean. We really enjoyed coffee outside on the deck. The proprietors were great with communication. Check in was super easy. We would love to return.
