We had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The bathroom was a real highlight — beautifully designed, with both a luxurious bathtub and a modern walk-in shower. We also enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel; it’s a charming village that’s great for peaceful walks and discovering local spots. Would definitely recommend!

The location and grounds are breathtaking, peaceful, you feel completely in tune with nature and it is a great place to relax. The spa facilities are great, if you are into walks the grounds offer great strolls in nature. The hotel overall has an old world charm to it. The dinner was good at the Walled Garden restaurant.

Nice property - would stay again. Small B&B with friendly owners who know a lot about the area. Spotless, modern rooms and bathrooms with good quality bedding. Rooms feel like a hotel - much better than others we've stayed at. Towels, toiletries, coffee/tea in the room, TV, great little library with lots of books. Sitting room with sofa for you to sit in, which is needed since the deck/balcony is really small and only accommodates two families. Nice breakfast. Good options - full English, eggs Benedict, toast, porridge etc.

Large well-appointed, comfortable room, and despite overlooking a road it was quiet. The public rooms were welcoming and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outside seating area. All the staff we engaged with were helpful.

We had supper in the bar area the night the Lionnesses brought home the trophy! There were a few families and couples in and the atmosphere was upbeat but calm! The food was BEYOND delicious- really nuanced flavours in both dishes (my husband had the trout; I had tarragon gnocchi with asparagus and truffle emulsion. Both stunning). Breakfast (shakshuka; eggs royale) were equally well cooked and beautifully presented. We stayed in one of the newer rooms and it was a great experience. Large room; beautiful bathroom (walk in shower, monsoon shower head), lovely toiletries. The room was beautifully decorated with an eclectic selection of antique books scattered about to peruse. They give you real, Illy coffee, with a solid cafetiere; real milk can be got within the main building. We will be back as soon as we can; it was a wonderful night and rescued a difficult week.

Great location in walking distance to Bath (20 minutes) with on-site parking. Also close to shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Comfortable public areas, both outdoors and indoors. Great cold buffet and hot a la carte options for breakfast. Room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
