Great location to be able to walk into Town. Plus near bus stop where there are several buses running to get you about. Great breakfast and Ian was a superb host. Just as a heads up the rooms at the top of the guest house have spiral staircase to get up to them - could be awkward if not too mobile - Ian did ask when we booked if we needed accessible room so do bear this in mind.

We were greeted very warmly by the owner and this warmth extended throughout our stay. The room was compact but lovely, with lots of natural light and a comfortable bed. Power points and lights just where you need them. The breakfast is delicious. The location, half way between Windermere and Bowness, is handy, with a bus stop 5 minutes walk away or a short walk into either of the little towns.

Its only couple of minutes walk from the train station and there’s a lot of food options and grocery stores within walking distance. The amenities are excellent, the design of the apartment was modern and sleek, definitely has a cozy vibe. The owner was very helpful answering our queries and even recommended food places for us. Highly recommend this for families and travelers in a group.
