United StatesThe hotel is right be the Suizenji park and the associated trails along the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.

Staff members were always on hand to greet you the moment you stepped out of the lift and were ready to assist you in all matters (early/late check-in, storing of suitcases, parking matters).
