A hidden gem! Such an amazing experience in the rainforest, the sounds of the rain on the roof all night was truly magical. We arrived in the evening (and hungry) and had a beautiful dinner cooked with so much care & love.

Miravalles Volcano House is a recently renovated vacation home in Guayabal where guests can make the most of the pool with a view and garden. With pool views, this accommodation provides a balcony.

The location is on the skirts of Miravalles volcano, close to main attractions and tours but not touristy, which we liked. The owner of the place offered to arrange a tour to see sloths or go to thermal baths. You just need to ask. There is a bus stop in front of the property but we had a car and didn't use it.

There is something very special about this place. There is so much love here. You see very quickly after arrival how much the family loves their cabins, their garden, each other, and their guests. Immediately after arrival, they welcomed me into their family. They taught me about farming, plants in the garden, how cocoa and sugar water are made. We sang Spanish songs into the evening. They were incredibly patient with my very limited Spanish vocabulary, and we always managed to find a way to understand each other. This is my ninth stop on my Costa Rica journey. Every location has used the term Pura Vide. It wasn't until this stay that I really started to understand what the feeling of "Pura Vide" was. It abounds here. Thank you for a beautiful stay. You have been an incredible gift on my Costa Rica visit.

Fantastic hosts! This is a wonderful family who have opened their home to travellers in a very small community outside Rio Celeste. They are incredibly welcoming and have a fantastic clean home with a kitchen and great breakfast.

The staff were really accommodating and friendly, the breakfasts were huge and delicious. Gorgeous rooms and had the most amazing toucan experience just sat out on the terrace.

The hot springs were amazing! We were only here for one night, we wish we had time to stay longer. I will definitely be returning here. Wonderful, comfortable accommodations, amazing facilities, fantastic natural surroundings and super friendly staff. What more can you ask for?
