Lovely hosts, very knowledgeable, fabulous views from the finca, good nights sleep, lovely horse riding experience, fine food... It was perfect!

Orosi Valley us beautiful. The Lodge was great, but we knew it would be. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times previously. The breakfast was really good.

Nearest thing to heaven - literally - you can imagine. An incredibly beautiful place and grounds with an eagle-eye view of the mountains and valleys, with clouds above and below. Breathtaking views any time of day. The house itself was an architectural beauty with huge windows looking out over the incredible landscape and the beautifully landscaped gardens around it. The most completely furnished kitchen of any place we stayed - would be easy to stay for a longer period. Sadly we only stayed three days, but at the end wanted to buy the place and stay permanently - but they wouldn't sell. Staff was wonderful helpful and always available, since the husband & wife live in a house on the grounds. A place not to be missed.

Bungalows are clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the family to make meals, eat together, and relax. Lots of amenities to enjoy - pool, foosball, bikes. Location was central to walk around town or head out for activities in the area (Irazu volcano, Cachi lake, Ujurras ruins, Monte Sky, etc ). Breakfast was amazing - pancakes, eggs, Canadian bacon, fresh fruits, coffee and orange juice. Customer service was top notch.

Lovely location with an incredible view. Our host Ury was outstanding and did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. He has built this chalet with much TLC and it was obvious. Unfortunately, it rained in the afternoons so we didn’t get as much chance to explore and look for birds as we wanted, but nature does what nature does. We loved that it was high above Orosí and in a fascinating area. The history of the coffee and sugar cane growers was fascinating. There is much to discover around Orosí and its lovely that’s off the usual tourist path. We loved the Irazú Volcano and Ujarras Ruins (tons of birds and it’s free). We missed other sites due to lack of time and rain, but Ury can advise.

Gabriel and family are tremendous hosts, supremely welcoming and friendly, literally opening their farm to guests…and delivering fresh meals from their bioregenerative farm. Ready to teach about their practices and methods.
