Great room and the bed was so comfy. I stayed in the twin room with my sister. Breakfast the next day was lovey and the owners are so nice and accommodating. 5 min walk just up the street and your in the heart of Bakewell town.

The building was amazing. Very quirky. Excellent local produce with loads of exciting flavours and the food was cooked and presented to a high standard.The room and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff were all friendly too.

Our holiday was a last minute booking for a four night stay. Dale View cottage is a an absolute gem and the location is amazing. We would definitely recommend this cottage. It is very clean, comfy and spacious. The owners were very polite, friendly and helpful.

The house is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for us and would easily accommodate more people than the 3 we had staying. We had a family pre-Christmas dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. House was spotless and well-equipped. Very quiet location on its own but only a very quick jaunt into Bakewell (actually very easily walkable if you’re just going for lunch/dinner/pub and not planning to do too much shopping). Very easy walk to the fab Thornbridge brewery which has great pizza. Also easy access to Monsal Head (maybe 5-10 min drive or so max), quick drive into Sheffield when needed, and close to a lot of the Peak District attractions/walks. We absolutely loved this house and will be back.

    Spacious and well located. Melanie was very accommodating on check out time. Although the off street parking was limited for the size of house there was free parking just around the corner eying the school (worth specifically mentioning this in the info provided)

    The reception was fast and easy. We were met in the car park and we were in to our penthouse apartment within 3 minutes. It certainly has the wow factor. Everything is top notch. Wonderful location, a few minutes to a variety of shops and restaurants, Piedaniels was a particularly excellent meal. A great bonus is to get free parking so close to the town centre. I stay that we will remember for years
