The wonderful host came immediately when we arrived and was super friendly. The apartment had absolutely everything (and more!!!), coffee, teas, cookies, chocolates, shampoo, toothbrushes (if you needed them), shaving cream, bottles of water, milk, washing machine and detergent..... I could go on and on, everything was thought of. And the bed was super comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent, fresh croissants every morning plus fruit, cheese and other options. Andrea made us fresh coffee to order. Gabrielle prepared us an excellent traditional Tuscany dinner with wine and dessert. Superb!

Starting with the facilities, everything at Sweet Emily B&B felt brand new. The two beds were perfectly sized and very comfortable. There was also a lovely, soft blue single sofa that added a stylish touch to the room. All the decor, including the bedside lamps, blended beautifully with the overall room design. One of the highlights was the large private balcony—it offered a stunning, peaceful view of Tuscany’s lush green summer landscape. The bathroom was spacious, fully equipped with a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, and plenty of thick towels. Although the private bathroom is located just outside the room, it’s so close that it didn’t cause any inconvenience at all. The breakfast was another unforgettable part of our stay. It was self-service, but that didn’t affect the quality at all—in fact, it made the experience feel even more relaxed and homey. Every afternoon, the host would go into town to buy the freshest ingredients for the next morning. In the shared dining area, there was a wide variety of cakes (incredibly tasty & well-chosen, changes every day), breads, and sweets, along with an almost unlimited supply of coffee from the self-service machine. The fridge was stocked with high-quality cheeses, ham, milk, yogurt, juices, and fresh fruits—those Italian grapes were incredibly sweet! There were also fresh eggs available, and guests were welcome to cook their own egg dishes, like omelets or scrambled eggs. The entire breakfast experience had a warm, homemade touch that made us feel truly cared for. Beyond the room and the breakfast, what I especially want to praise is the shared space at the B&B. It felt so warm and welcoming, almost like stepping into the home of a kind and loving Tuscan family. There’s a piano, a guitar, a huge communal table for chatting, soft couches and all kinds of cozy chairs with cushions. There’s also a large TV and a great selection of board games.

    Already before we arrived, Alessandro did everything he could to help prepare our stay. The apartment sits in a nice location, with wonderful views (especially when you're in the jacuzzi). Easy to reach Florence (free parking at a nearby tram station). Shops, restaurants and hiking routes near the property. Kitchen is well equipped.

    Excellent facilities - Very nice host but of course had difficulty in comms due to language barrier. But there was a person available on whatsapp all time - and provide prompt and timely support. Excellent location on the mountain. Only 20 mins drive from the Florence city. Spacious property. Had open place with outdoor dining table and it was an amazing experience to have breakfast there. Parking was convenient. Fully furnished kitchen.
