The inn and staff exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. They helped arrange a taxi to and from the Mt Fuji station which was very helpful. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, and paid attention to all the small details. The meals for breakfast and dinner were unique and delicious - make sure to come to meals hungry! We have some food allergies and had no issues throughout our stay. The inn is gorgeous and we had an amazing time riding bikes around Oshino Village. This was the end of our two week honeymoon, and it was such a special way to end our trip. I truly feel this was the stay of a lifetime, especially with the gorgeous views of Fuji-san. Thank you again for everything!

Loved the remote location. The lush green space around the property and being away from main roads made this a quiet stay. Also loved the extremely deep soaking tub. I’m 5’10 (178cm) and sat with my legs fully extended, and the water level above my shoulders. Fantastic for soaking after all the walking/hiking. The izekaya a short walk from the property was some of the best yakitori we had in Japan.

The location is exceptional, right beside Oshina Hakkas, the surrounding is so beautiful that make you not want to leave. Whole house is very clean and convenient, room is big and comfortable. The facilities is a little old but very well maintained. One big plus, people we met along the way when we tried to get there are really nice and will step extra to help us, adding big to our satisfactory stay. Big thanks to Oshino people.

This was a very convenient location. Food and transportation all very close by. Room was clean and quite spacious. Staff was also very nice. Our reason for stay was to hike Mt. Fuji. We were able to get up and going without delays. Would recommend.

Kagelow is an easy 10 minute walk from the bus and train station and Fuji can be seen from the street. The facilities themselves are very comfortable with a relaxing outdoor seating area and cool air conditioned dorm with large lockers. The cafe also serves as a communal space.     I love the cozy and quiet location. Very clean and neat room. Spacious parking space with a small sakura garden in front. Okama-ike Pond is within the walking distance of this guesthouse as well. I will definitely comeback if I'm back in the area in the future.
