Location was great, beautiful view, best staff ever !

We had a quiet room, which was amazing for our 2 night stay. The staff were amazing and always attentive to our needs. For a family of 3, with suitcases, the room was a little small. However, it was super clean, comfortable, and great bathroom amenities. I would stay again for sure.

So so. My wife left her purse on the chair at breakfast. When she realized it minutes later she went back and it was turned into the front desk (intact).

They are real people and have genuine “aloha” Spirit.

Loved the location!!! Can’t beat walking to all shops, restaurants and the farmers market right next door!

Our host Diana was a delight and was so generous with everything in the facility. Everything was superbly organized and managed well. The place was clean and it was so much fun to meet people from all over the world. You had a chance to meet people or be alone, whatever you chose to do, the place made you happy.

Beautiful location within a tropical garden setting, complete with water features & pool. Nice to sit out on the ample deck in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm surroundings. Our hosts were very welcoming and happy to share their experiences. Good self serve continental breakfast. Easy walk to surfing beach.

Beautiful, well-maintained property. We enjoyed sitting on the patio area outside our room eating the continental breakfast ,viewing the beautiful landscape and listening to the waterfall on the property. The property is very close to downtown Hilo and other tourist attractions.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Just incredible. The waterfall, the goats, the cabins, the lodge...the sounds of the waterfall, birds, and frogs. Even if you aren't planning to go to Hilo, go, just to visit this magical place. We needed help with something when we got there and the owner appeared immediately. He was so kind and clearly has worked very hard to create this wonderful place. We joined a tour of the property where we learned more about the intention and care they placed into creating and maintaining the property and wide range of plant life. Wish we were still there.

Absolutely beautiful little space, gorgeous garden, cute set up. There were snacks set out for us, including coffee, the little kitchenette was super equipped for any basic cooking. I look forward to visiting again! It was quite secluded, and lovely to just sit on the porch having a cup of coffee in the morning. The bathroom is equipped with a lot of oft-forgotten bits, hydrogen peroxide, shampoo/conditioner, earplugs, even a little fan if the humidity is too much. It's a small space but well put together and thought-out!

Everything was impeccable. Cynthia was an amazing host! She also offered us some ice tea with a special Filipino lime. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great stay, highly recommended.

Great breakfast at 8 am. Peaceful, scenic, walking to nearby Boiling Pots a bonus!

It was very cute. I absolutely loved it. We Had 5 Adults and a child. It was very comfortable.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. It is quiet, beautiful, peaceful and you truly feel home away from home. The innkeeper car was friendly and adorable, the staff were friendly and the grounds are spectacular. We loved the private dinning experience, but make sure to mention your dietary restrictions or what you don’t like to eat as you don’t want to miss anything from this multi course meal. The common area were welcoming and there were snacks, tea and coffee available at all time. The rooms were light and you could hear the falls in the background, for a lovely white noise at night. We will be back!

We loved our stay here! The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.

It’s was really neat place. There were 4 of us and it was perfect. Close to town.

Direct Ocean front at Carlsmith Beach Park. Wonderful screened in Lanai with ocean view. Fully equipped kitchen and nice linens and towels. Excellent communication with property manager who was so kind to us! Perfect Hilo location! Love the Hilo local vibe and the great people there!!

Loved the room and the covered patio! The view was terrific as well. Parking was tight, but acceptable. We would rent here again when going to the Big Island of Hawaii!

The amenities were very well thought out and overall the apartment setup was awesome. The location was really good as well. I also really liked the hammock on the back balcony.

The location was great. The AC in the bedrooms was very much welcome. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary dishes and kitchenware.

I grew up in Hilo, and they kept the original name Waiakea Villas, but originally, this was a hotel. Then, eventually turned it into studios/condos. I love the location. Checking in and out was a breeze. Ideal location, studio is located on the first floor. Secured locks on the door. 7min from the Hilo airport. Very cozy. Lots of parking. The pool is located right outside of the patio. You'll LOVE Hilo....Enjoy the Island vibe.

Absolutely gorgeous with personality! Very original, eclectic and homey. Had everything. Location minutes from downtown.

We enjoyed the spacious living and dining areas and we cooked several meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathrooms were excellent. Kenji welcomed us personally and we felt comfortable calling him with any questions. The furnishings and artwork made the home feel very Hawaiian.
