Beautiful surroundings. Staff was very professional. The welcome sweet delivered to the room was a lovely surprise. We had the 8 course meal and it was the most memorable of our 17 day vacation. Our personalized menus including attention to an allergy was outstanding. There was a billing error on our final bill which was handled quickly and professionally to our satisfaction.

Great location right in heart of the beautiful village of Grasmere. This very nice small hotel is on a large property set back from the main street so it’s very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a large living room where you can sit around and relax in the evening. We stayed there for three nights and really enjoyed it.
