Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Hexham

quiet and in beautiful surroundings

Close to the train station and a short walk to downtown. If you're visiting Houseteds Roman Fort there is a bus stop very close. Staff were very friendly, we were able to store our bags (no charge) while we went exploring Houseteds. Breakfast was very enjoyable and made to order.

Central, clean and friendly, lovely food ,great breakfast.

Everything - super comfy room, with loads of space and some great additional facilities such as a small fridge provided. Also, considering the standard provided, this was great VFM.

The breakfast was very good. There were several choices and Elizabeth cooked us a full traditional breakfast, which was more that sufficient and we didn't need to have lunch later. The farm is in a quiet, secluded location and the entire area is beautiful and interesting. All in all, a very pleasant and memorable experience.

The easy check in , spacious bathroom, the bed was surprisingly good and the location was great .

The staff running the Sun Inn were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Traveling with 2 young children and extended family can be a lot to manage and we felt very taken care of by the staff at the Sun Inn. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the pub downstairs at night was very enjoyable. It was nice each morning to have a friendly face waiting downstairs to help get us fed and on our way.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hexham is beautiful!

The location was excellent. The flat was clean and tidy and well laid out. The wifi was reliable.

Clean and modern accommodation. Great location.

Clean, quiet and modern. Excellent experience

Self catering with excellent close by parking - centre of town within short walk - a few steps inside and outside the property no problem for us but perhaps not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

This beautiful castle hotel has a very special atmosphere. We loved the location, the garden, walking through the corridors, climbing up the stairs, and the tea room. Our room was gorgeous, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely little seating area with two benches near the window. There are many similar places around the castle.

Location was amazing. Rooms were lovely, clean and homely Would definitely recommend

Very spacious property with high end finish with underfloor heating. Great kitchen with all appliances. Great showers/ water pressure. Close to Vindolanda & other Roman sites. Good recommendations for eating out which we used.

The proprietors were incredibly accommodating! From picking us up from Chollerford to packing a lunch for us. We had a delicious meal. The Inn is charming as well. We rate them an 11 out of 10!

Super close to the train. Lovely walks from the doorstep. A very small village. Clean and nicely decorated room. Very helpful, pleasant proprietor.

The farm vibe was therapeutic , but also a feast for the eyes . What a beautiful property. Thank to Dee and Charles for their warm hospitality .
