I visited Uji to explore Hibike! Euphonium pilgramage spots. This place was in a great location to do so. Host was very kind, and made sure I got to the location safely. Will come here again if I ever return to Uji!!!

Apartment is well organised and nice quipped, Takeda station is 5 minutes walk, and staff is nice but lacks the ability to speak English. We enjoyed the room, all family in one space, be aware, no rooms or moving separation walls.

    The room was nice and the futon was comfy to sleep on. The location was perfect as it was easy to get to Kyoto and to explore Uji. I loved the opportunity to see a place that I wouldn't have otherwise seen.

    It’s a lovely building, the owner-couple is very kind, and the location was convenient for our trip, driving by car. (It's far outside the city of Kyoto, though, so if you're a tourist without a car and Kyoto is your focus, this probably shouldn't be your first choice of places at which to stay.)

    EVERYTHING! The people running it are adorable! The japanese style room fabulous! The shared shower rooms and toilets spotless! The location is peaceful but still close to all main areas. The free beer, coffee, tea was a lovely touch and the kitchen area is well equipped. A great little spot! Highly recommended.
