The place was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and nature at its best. The apartment was amazing, with an excellent view and a wonderful ambience. Most of all, the staff and the family managing Windy Garden were incredibly kind, warm, and extremely helpful. Truly a memorable stay.

I absolutely loved my time at Olinda! Everything about it felt special. The place was spotless, the decor is stunning, the food was lovely, and most importantly, the team running it was nothing short of amazing. It’s one of those rare places that feels both luxurious and deeply welcoming. If it’s available, don’t hesitate—book it! I highly recommend it and would love to return in the future.

The rooftop pool was the highlight of our stay. We swam from the afternoon and stayed for sunset over the Galle skyline. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, fresh local fruit and hoppers made to order, and it was worth getting up early for. The bar is a real standout too: the cocktails are creative, beautifully made and among the best we had anywhere in Sri Lanka. Staff were warm and attentive throughout.

The attention to detail, guest comfort and service was outstanding. I cannot rate highly enough this gem within Galle Fort. The property was beautifully presented- a very special place. I would encourage anyone hoping for some tranquility and relaxtion within the Fort to stay here. Thanks again- I hope to return one day!

The hotel building looks like an old historic castle which adds to the ambiance. The facilities were spotless, we loved the pool and the restaurant with Birds Eye view was superb. We got welcome drinks, the service was exceptional.

Excellent breakfast, and the swimming pool was beautiful. The place is very quiet and peaceful, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking, and the location is just perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the room service team who made us feel so comfortable. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Another highlight was that the hotel kindly allocated our room even before the official check-in time, which made our stay even more relaxed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

Best designed property in Sri Lanka! I was lucky to come across the property as it had just opened. Great design, right in the middle of the Fort with amazing views from their restaurant and deck. Loved the a la carte breakfast, and the restaurant & bar menu are some of the best I tried in Sri Lanka! An energetic and very personable team, a welcome change from the service style experienced elsewhere during my trip.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were large and tastefully decorated. The location couldn't have been better - right in the centre of old Galle Fort. The breakfast was included, and it was one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Wirdana Resort was simply amazing. The villa we stayed at was perfect with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The service from all the staff was wonderful. Lahiru and the rest of the team was just so friendly and kind and made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. Loved that they are also pet friendly. In house dining was also delicious! Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Galle, the entire property is so peaceful, beautiful, well maintained and the perfect place for a nice and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

Great place. You will need to climb 2 levels for double master bedroom.

We had the pleasure of stay there for one night and it's a nice cozy apartment with 3 bedrooms with sea view.. have access to the beach and pool. The restaurant and pool close at 7.30 p.m. we needed an extra bed and they were very accommodating

You know those two guys you see on You Tube who dig underground swimming pools with slides in a jungle clearing using only two sticks? This is the place they are making! Kids loved it! We got a free upgrade to an awesome room with its own jacuzzi plus Galle us only a short ride away fir sightseeing and eating.

We spent two days at De MODA hotel. It was the best hotel with the best hospitality I have ever been to. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this hotel if you come to Galle. The breakfast they provide is amazing. The rooms and bathroom are very clean & water pressure is very good. The balcony view is very beautiful. The manager and the other three boys are always looking after the customers. Thank you to everyone for the service they provided us.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely wonderful. Everything was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The service was great, and we truly felt relaxed here. The owners are amazing people — very kind and caring. They really make sure guests feel comfortable and happy. The villa has a nice living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a big swimming pool — perfect for a relaxing vacation. We are very satisfied and definitely recommend staying here!
