This hotel is excellent! I was greeted with a welcome drink, cookies, and a room upgrade upon my arrival. The room was fantastic, super clean, and very spacious. The staff was superb. They were super friendly, helpful, and always smiling and saying hello. The location was excellent and within walking distance of a lot of the major sites. I highly recommend this hotel!

I had an unforgettable stay at Royal Tiger Luxury Resort, nestled right on the edge of Chitwan National Park. The resort perfectly blends luxury with nature, offering spacious, beautifully designed rooms with stunning jungle views. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I especially enjoyed the peaceful ambiance, delicious meals, and the well-organized jungle safari that gave us a close-up experience with Chitwan’s wildlife. The best place I have been in all of Nepal. If I could give more than 10, I would. Shiva’s Hippies Colony in Sauraha is not just a guesthouse , it is a home. Raj and Swastika form a lovely family. Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

    Our room was very nice, with a comfortable seating area outside the room. The swimming pool is very good, and refreshing after a very hot walking safari! The location is very central and close to everything you need. We didn't arrange a pick-up from the bus station, but we rang the hotel upon arrival and they came and picked us up, and took us back at the end of our stay - thanks!

    This was by far the best hotel we stayed in Nepal, and it was like an oasis of tranquility for us. The rooms are fantastic (we had two rooms facing the swimming pool), the beds so comfortable that we couldn't believe it, the food in the restaurant superb, the swimming pool very welcoming, the staff very kind, no noise, good wifi... We were a bit disappointed with the National Park, but just to stay in this hotel for a few nights it was worth the detour.

    Staff were very friendly and hospitality was awesome.I spent a great and a comfort time with full luxuary at RTLR. Swimming pool was huge and very relaxable for refreshments and the facilities provided by resort for a extra activities like jungle safari,cultural program and so on was excellent. I have spent a great time in royal tiger with my group of friends.So,i am very thankful to the staff and the management for making my stay great and wonderful.

    Free pickup from the bus station was very helpful and a cold welcome drink was a nice touch! The room was beautiful, very clean, and well fitted with all the necessary amenities. The area was stunning and thriving with natural beauty and attracted lots of butterflies. The swimming pool was lovely. Despite what we had read from other reviews, we thought the food was pretty reasonably priced for the area, and also some of the best we have had - absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
