Mia and Zea are wonderful people. They really took care of me while I stayed at their bungalow for almost three weeks. When I left for two days, I could leave my luggage at their place, which was really kind. Mia is an excellent cook, I tried a lot of different dishes and I always liked it. I did a cooking class as well. The Six Senses Beach is in 10-15 minutes walking distance and one of the best beaches on the island. Sometimes there are no other people around - and that happened in February! When you go back in the late afternoon, you should definitely use mosquito repellent - these mosquitoes are the only annoying thing on the island. I had to work on my computer a lot, there is a table with one chair at each bungalow. The WiFi is good enough to do normal computer work. You can always go in the restaurant with best internet connections and AC if you want. The island is calm and not touristy, which is amazing. I hope it stays like that forever.

We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is amazing. Incredibly calm, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. They offer scooters for rent and also provide complimentary bicycles, which made exploring the island very easy. There’s a wonderful restaurant nearby, Kaya, just a 10-minute walk away, serving authentic Thai food. We enjoyed it so much that we had all of our meals there. As a couple looking for a peaceful place to end our trip in Thailand, we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. I had seen some reviews mentioning that breakfast was served inside the rooms, but it seems they have already changed that since during our stay, breakfast was offered in a separate area. And finally, the staff deserves a special mention. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Our stay at Purana was utterly sublime!!! We would go back there in a heartbeat! The highlights were: Friendly, attentive, caring staff who made us feel at home Fresh and delicious food at the hotel restaurant - we enjoyed every single breakfast and dinner they served Incredible villa with an infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the islands Comfortable bed, the whole space was well decorated and equipped Chattering birds and monkeys in the tropical forest, a very nice sound to wake and fall asleep to. We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in a beautiful villa with two independent suites with air conditioning, an open living room, and a pool shared with another villa – everything very well maintained and cared for, with lovely décor and always spotless. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The owner, George, and the host, Ryan, were very friendly and always available to help. The property is located on a private beach and offers kayaks – we went on a long trip to the neighboring cove and to a small island in front! The food was delicious, and all the staff were super friendly. Just a note that some villas (like ours) are about a short 10-minute walk from the private beach and dining area :) We were sorry to stay only 2 nights – we would have stayed at least a week! Thank you.
