    As residents on the island, we visit the west coast ofter because we love this region. It was our first time in the hotel and we loved it in total. Beautiful surroundings and very well cared for. The room was spacious and comfortable. Cozy beds and pillows and good layout. The bathroom was big and the shower was amazingly good. Very clean and even the bathroom products were good. The restaurant is very good and the service is wonderful. What we like the most is the tranquility. The pool is fabulous and it is in an amazing spot that you can spend the whole day there and then watch the beautiful sunsets of the west coast of Puerto Rico. Really good for a getaway with your partner! We are definitely coming back.

    Excellent resort, very big and spacious you never feel crowded, the resort was full and you don't notice. Extremely clean, the staff is always checking and making sure everything is perfect. Love it. They have 2 restaurants and both are very good, the menu is very tasty and there are plenty of options. They offer water sports like kayaks and short trips to Gilligan's Isle which is a lot of fun. If you are into scuba diving, they also offer good services, unfortunately I am not a diver and I didn't want to take any changes, but I hear fantastic things about it. It is a perfect place to rest and recharge. If you have children, this is your place.

    The location is fabulous. Verdanza is awesome I’ve stayed here multiple times. This time around I took my family and they had an excellent time as well. The ambiance is great not too busy and accommodating for family. The hotel is right in isla verde and you have access to a ton of cool restaurants souvenir shops and the beach is near by. You can Uber taxi for less than 10 dollars to and from the airport. We also Uber taxi to piñones which was fantastic as well as Uber taxi to Viejo San Juan. We are back home but miss Puerto Rico and the friendly people ❤️🙏🏽

    Was clean, they straighten up room everyday. The view from the room was gorgeous. Free use of safe. Restaurant has great food. Make sure you are hungry! Large portions! We could eat 1 meal and still have food. The bar is great. Great photo opportunities. Plenty of pool seating and beach chairs. They have security at entrance. He has a Big gun!! Lots of good vendors and such in walking distance.they have a ball room for receptions.

    The hotel was very beautiful, lovely flower, I felt safe with my daughter there. There were things to do at every corner of the ground and very nice entertainment at night. Very big hotel, drink and food all day long, there were things for children to partaking in and many other things to do. I would recommend for others to visit when they get a chance.

    The colonial Zone of Santo Domingo is stunning, with a lot of Museums, A beautiful Cathedral, a very active nightlife, cafes, restaurants a so much. Perfect for walking and relaxing, very Bohemian vibe. Recomendations: Mosquito bar, La casa del ron with a stunning view of the Cathedral and Sabina with a very bohemian style. If you want a more modern vibe then stay in the Piantini district, With a lot of modern bars, restaurants like Sarah and a lot roof top around the city. and a very cosmopolitan vibe, however, be aware that the traffic is chaotic and stressful during peak hours. If you visit Santo Domingo please go to the beach, Close by Bocha Chica, A little bit far away but worth it is La Romana and Punta Cana.

    We drove thru the main town by the bridge on Sunday and it was very busy and couldn't find a place to park that was close for my elder parent to walk and sightsee..but it looked like it was the center of the commerical tourist part of town.

    Food was not good. Service at the Buffet could have been much better. Rooms need attention. Lights need to be brighter, fans need controls, our door lock needed repair to lock. No water pressure in sink. The resort was attractive & kept clean.

    The entertainment staff made you feel welcomed. The dining was excellent. Great food and service. We were impressed. Thanks to the staff in the Rose Hall Dining area especially Darren and Trudy Ann. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the karaoke too.

There are so many restaurants within walking distance. The super market is 2 minutes away. Palm beach just a few minutes by car or by scooters . Water sports are available everywhere. There is so much to go no matter what your age,

    It's a quaint little town.

    It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. We enjoyed exploring it, but there's not a huge amount there besides the souvenir shops, a few clothing stores, a few bars, a few coffee shops, and a few restaurants.

    Las Terrenas is a lovely northern town on the Samana...

    Las Terrenas is a lovely northern town on the Samana peninsula. If you want a chilled out vibe, full of locals and nice easy access to different beaches then this is your place. I went as a solo female traveller and found it very good, generally safe, did not feel threatened which is important when you're alone. Plenty of places to eat, but I would do your research first. The food was good, but often the service at restaurants was not so good. Cheap prices. Margarita Bar - inexpensive, amazing quesadillas Gelateria Italiana Artesanal - cute ice cream parlour El Loro - great beach snacks Ristorante Pizzeria Nonna Teresa - a fab family run italian with fresh pasta El Lugar - full options and good tapas style food Boulangerie Francaise - a cute bakery Empanadas y Más - didn't try, but known to have the best empanadas Pizza Coco - go-to amazing cheap delicious pizza Super Mercado Lindo - closest large supermarket if you want options 20-30 min walk or you can get a taxi/bike. Easiest ways to get around if you don't want to rent a drive is the men that drive the scooters, they all wear yellow high vis jackets so that you know they are safe, you pay them anywhere between $200-500 pesos equivalent to $3 for a short ride from A>B. But the dune buggies and quad bikes are popular for tourists to use. I highly recommend getting to see Limon Waterfalls, and I did a day trip to visit 4 secluded beaches. Waterfall tours by Flora Tours. Beaches tours by OBISPO ATM - very good value! Out of the beaches tried, Playa Las Ballenas was the calmest, but nice waters and quieter vibe to Punta Popy.     Wonderful place.

    Wonderful place. We enjoyed everything about it (find the little gem which is the natural mineral pool - so refreshing!). The staff are wonderful -- friendly, helpful and attentive. The singing chef making our eggs at breakfast is a superstar! As a place to chill out and have some 'us time' it was perfect. Highly recommend it.
