The appliances that were available to each guest in their own room was very convenient when I had to heat up food using the microwave. Everything also seemed very clean and well maintained except for some of the dishware. The staff was very helpful and kind when I had to keep reenabling my keycard when i misplace it near my phone. The rotating TV was a nice touch so I could watch shows on the couch or the bed

I liked the idea of the Snack Bar being open 24/7.

Great location with fantastic staff. The room is quite small but the bed is very comfortable. When I checked in, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast there was fantastic. Many choices and during weekend it lasts from 6:30-11am, so you could even use it as a brunch. Lovely stay overall!!!

They free drinks, bread and fruits at the lobby. Location was perfect.

The hotel is different in many ways and spending some time in it is already a great experience, still it is a classic hotel. The hotel is in a rehabilitated palace, with a modern decoration, just great. Great vibe. The public parking is 50m away and it is safe modern, spacious and clean. Great for families too. Very safe neighborhood, close to everything.

The hotel was amazing! Staff was very attentive, the rooms were super modern, clean and with a great space for a couple (the facilities were very nice). I could also bring my dog and he felt safe & sound there. The breakfast was super diverse and also delicious! Easy to commute to the city center of Ghent as well - truly recommend!

Modern hotel and we'll located

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is located nearby the city center. the only minor downside is that the closest parking lot is about 8 minutes of walking.

We stayed in a stunning suite on the first floor of the 15th-century mansion, part of the Ghent River Hotel, which combines this historic building with a 19th-century rice mill. The room’s original beams, floors, and canopy bed created a regal, medieval castle-like atmosphere. The included breakfast was exceptional, offering a delicious variety of breads, cheeses, jams, eggs, and sausages. The hotel’s central location in Ghent made it easy to explore nearby attractions.

Simple place. Was one of the cheaper hotels but it was very clean and within walkable distance from the city center and other restaurants. The staff was very friendly.
