Lots of shops and restaurants to go to including Paul’s Pizza. Nice parks. Close to Calgary so you could use it as a base. We drove out to Edmonton and back for a day. Also you can drive to Drumheller to Dinosaur “Royal Tyrell Museum”.Guest review byBoyer - 10.0

We enjoyed staying west of Calgary as preparation for a launch into the Banff area followed by Revelstoke and Whistler. Cochrane is a short drive from Calgary airport yet a giant headstart for the next day's travel. This B&B was a much better contributor to our trip than a generic hotel stay in Calgary.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0
Local amenities were the same as everywhere and convenient.
Local amenities were the same as everywhere and convenient. The kids loved the pool at the hotel and the concierge was friendly to them in greetings. The local Station Restaurant & Pub was great at accommodating us when we were a large group at the last minute for lunch. Great food! Definitely would go back there for another meal. There were a couple other places in town, we didn’t have time for in our schedule but we will be back!Guest review byRobertaCanada - 10.0

We like to walk and found it really easy to walk into the small town. There are a mixture of independent shops and cafes which, we really liked. There are plenty of nice walks and it is not far to drive to interesting small towns, an area with lots of history. Travellers really do need to get off the main highways and explore the area, it is lovely. Most side roads are quiet and have beautiful views. The snow capped mountains are always in view.Guest review byKeithUnited Kingdom - 4.0
The room size (2 Queens Bed) is big. No good view though.
The room size (2 Queens Bed) is big. No good view though. The location is near the CrossIron Mills Outlet where I would like to spend a full day shopping and near the Calgary International Airport where I would be going to catch a plane. Didn't like that they didn't do housekeeping despite me staying for 2 nights - no making the bed, emptying the dustbins, changing the towels. There was no door card for me to indicate that I would like the room cleaned. The breakfast was pathetic. Would prefer they charge lower for room rate and do not provide breakfast as plenty of options at the CrossIron Mills Outlet.Guest review byJacquelineSingapore - 10.0

We arrived at the Inn in the dark, but it gave the impression of a clean lobby. Since we were on the upper floor, we took the stair which were clean up to our room as I did not see an elevator. I was so tired from the day, so I passed out on the bed but had less than a comfortable sleep on a rock of a mattress that was so firm, it looked like someone ironed the mattress itself with starch! I was thankful I did not have to stay any longer than 1 night.Guest review byKay - 10.0

Chestermere is a nice small, residential community located near Calgary. We found Chestermere to have good services, and enjoyed dining in a couple of restaurants (Indian and Japanese). As our stay was short, and we were visiting also Calgary, we did not have enough time to fully enjoy Chestermere.Guest review byKamelCanada - 8.0
Calgary had everything I needed and nearly everything I...
Calgary had everything I needed and nearly everything I wanted. The city has all the services and products a person could want. Costco, Canadian Tire, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy and the dealer I needed, Mazda. I don't really understand flashing green left turn signals, but got through them ok. Fuel was reasonably priced. Having been in remote parts of Alaska and the Yukon for a few months, I wasn't used to the "big city " experience. The city isn't that big, however it does behave like one, in that the speed of life is quicker than I was used to seeing. There is quite a bit of entertainment, movies and theater/theatre; I didn't have time to attend any of these events. Next Trip.Guest review byCharmaine MankeyUnited States
