    Such a beautiful location and the staff are really friendly and kind. Ernen is a charming village, definitely the place to stay if you are looking for the perfect quiet getaway. Our hotel had an amazing terrace with gorgeous views and the restaurant was very good. The beef tartare and Rösti - amazing and don't forget to try the apple strudel! Easy drive to Fiesch or Mörel to get the lifts to the respective view points to see the impressive Aletsch glacier.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. I loved it!

    We had a wonderful stay in Apartment Werlen! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect – quiet, with stunning mountain views, and just a short walk to the village. Our host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome.     Bellwald pistes are really excellent for beginners to intermediates—blue & red runs. There are some very wide pistes that are a delight to ski on. The trails through the woods to the lower levels are reasonably wide so passing is not an issue. And the slopes are on the sunny side of the mountain so that makes skiing even more pleasurable.

    Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s. Spectacular hill walking, hiking. Good footpaths. Switzerland is expensive but this area is worth a visit. Easy access to Aletsch glacier for excellent ski ing. The cable car is a short drive, massive car park available or there is a regular bus service

    It should be mentioned that the Hotel is in the middle of a typical narrow Village in Wallis and that there is no Parking right beside or in front of the house. On the other hand this makes it special and lets you get the feeling of the place.

    Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses. We took long walks around Ernen and in neighboring towns. We used car service from Lake Como to Ernen and did the same from Ernen to Interlaken. We had the most friendly and helpful staff at our hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
