The staffs are very helpful and supportive. The check-in and check-out process is smooth and pleasant. We particularly like the location of this apartment. There are lots of hiking trails which offer spectacular views nearby. The apartment is also very well equipped, with everything we need in the living room and kitchen. Extremely clean and the bed was also very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable vacation there. Will definitely go back again!!

A wonderful hotel/Restaurant!. The rooms were wonderful, clean and very charming. The service throughout our stay was excellent. This is a quaint town that is in a beautiful location. The breakfast was fabulous with a great variety of choices all of which were fresh and delicious. The restaurant served wonderful meals and the food was fabulous. The service was excellent and very caring.

The hotel is traditional yet modern. Nice and clean. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff, specifically the owner - is absolutely lovely! Made me feel real welcome, and almost like at home. Will definitely stay in this hotel when I’m again in Kochel, and recommend it over other hotels in this town (have stayed in a couple others).

We got the large room at the tip and it was fully functional for living with all the pans dishes and kitchen accessories. Bathroom was huge. They 2 extra beds in for the kids and the host was super easy to work with. Location was good and they do have parking for about 5 vehicles.breakfast was good with a decent selection of everything.

The area was beautiful, nice breakfast and very accommodating host! The room was perfect, and the huge walk in shower was nice. Also an entire parking lot across the way made things very easy.

Kochel itself was cosy and picturesque.
Kochel itself was cosy and picturesque. The lake ... is within walking distance. Those who wish can also visit Kristall Therme Trimini. Those who are interested in painting of the early 20th century, I advise you to visit the Franz Marc Museum. You can also reach by car or bus the beautiful mountain Walchensee.

I was familiar with the location of Murnau.
I was familiar with the location of Murnau. It is in the heart of Bavaria, and close to all the attractions: castles, the Ettal Monastery, Oberammergau, Wieskirche, Garmisch, Zugspitze, etc. There is biking, hiking, and swimming in the Staffelsee.
In addition, Munich is also close enough for day trips,
Murnau has grocery stores, and is in a beautiful region of Germany. It also has many spas and has apparently become a hub for wellness packages, so there are many opportunities for travelers to unwind after full days. Doesn't get much better!

A tour on the boat and a visit to the chair lift at Hoernle is recommendable because of the view to the lakes.
Have a luch/dinner and a nice beer at the Seerestaurant Alpenblick in Uffing

A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent.
A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent. We had a slightly complicated arrival but HP coped and we had a lovely stay - albeit for just one night. A lovely room, very nice staff and a great breakfast. If it fits in your itinerary go for it.
