The horel is excelently situated. View from our bedroom was superb. The only problem with the hotel was the price of the food which we felt was a bit high = to be fair the price of meals generally in Jersey is high but £90 + for an evening meal for 2 seems a bit high

We have thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic relaxing week in Jersey thanks mainly to our stay at this nicely located, well managed hotel, staffed by highly competent staff who worked hard to continually provide outstanding customer service. We had a "park view" room which, from the small balcony also gave us a partial view of the beach and lovely sunsets. The beds were very comfortable with clean linen every day and the room was cleaned and prepared such that it was always a pleasure to come back to at the end of a day's sight-seeing. The Internal and external wining and dining facilities were always of a high standard. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection of high quality ingredients to suit most tastes. We had Dinner inside the Terrace Lounge a couple of times where we thoroughly enjoyed a superbly cooked and presented fish dish from the Menu of the Day each time. For the last few evenings the weather was kind enough to enable us to experience a couple of lovely relaxing sessions enjoying cocktails on the outside terrace. Thanks to the staff, facilities and relaxing atmosphere at the Grand Jersey we have just arrived back home feeling thoroughly refreshed and rejuvenated after our first trip to Jersey, which we undertook as foot passengers on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth. We are already planning our next trip

The restaurant is phenomenal. Fresh ingredients and unexpected dishes. An innovative menu compared to a lot of the hotels in Jersey. We truly enjoyed the lunch selection and that it was open throughout the day. The spa is simply the best in Jersey. As soon as I walk through the spa doors, I feel lighter.

Room spotlessly cleaned by Frankline, breakfast was plentiful with lots of healthy options and traditional cooked fayre. Evening meals we ate in the on-site Italian restaurants. The food was delightful and we were waited on by the most charming Ram who was both attentive and knowledgable.

    A litter free City.

A litter free City. Each morning felt like a Sunday, quiet and relaxing. A good set of bars and pubs and restaurants set in pretty streets decorated with flower baskets and planters. Bunting and light festoons strung across the streets give it a jubilant feel. Plenty of transport to get around but walking is best. Great beaches and sea swimming is popular

St.Brelades is a beautiful place. The beaches are lovely, the views across the bay are stunning. The Church is well worth a visit, very pretty with a lot of history. There are plenty of places to purchase food, drinks and snacks and there are a couple of gift shops too. The public gardens are beautiful and well worth having a stroll around.

Jersey is not very big, but all the parishes have something to offer. St Saviour is on the East side of the island and close to St Helier town centre. Several good hotels and eating places. There is a Howard Davis Park, the War Tunnels, St Saviours Church, and the Hotel de Normandie has an Ayurvedic Spa, has several schools/colleges, and its famous people like Lillie Langtry (1853–1929), British-American socialite, actress and producer from St Saviour.

There is a huge and lovely beach here. The area is good for swimming/surfing and it is not too busy. There are lifeguards on a southern section of the beach. We spent a week on Jersey but we could easily have enjoyed a couple of weeks as, beyond the beach itself, there is miles of easily accessible coastline to walk and explore.

Great place to stay, picturesque, quaint, very 'chocolate box'. Fab if you like that sort of thing, I guess. It is a little off the beaten track but again, that's probably a plus. Not much choice for eating and what is there, apart from the 'Hungry Man' cafe, is not cheap. Could do with a general stores perhaps?
