Nice little room, lovely clean bathroom, enough towels to use even though we had to bring it to Nick's attention that house keeping didn't change the towels they just hung the dirty and wet towels back up. We had enough tea and coffee making facilities, we had a fan in the bedroom but felt that 2 might of been better, the hotel doesn't serve food but we knew that before booking but there's loads of cafes and pubs very local. All in all a very nice hotel and we would stop again.

Bridgewater is, how can I put it, maybe the best way to describe it is when the police van turned up in the town centre, and I jokingly said to them can you help me please? I appeared with come on holiday by mistake. They laughed and said you certainly have. I’ve never seen so many homeless crackhead loud junkies in one town centre in one evening. It’s a shame because the area architecturally looks pretty nice and there is one fantastic restaurant there called the Smoky Plum which is literally one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. All I can think of is the Arctic Monkeys song “they say it changes when the Sun goes down. “ Please don’t ever go there

It wasn't what we were expecting there are very few amenities. No pub in the centre of town only two restaurants a chinese take away and a kebab shop. Very few shops on the high street and the ones that were open only opened 10 to 3 or 11 to 4. We ate La Bella italian restaurant the food and service was good and would recommend.

The Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm museum are both nearby and excellent days out. We had an excellent meal out at Atrium restaurant in Yeovil where the food and ambiance were great. The Country Park has lovely walks. Although the town itself is a little run down (where isn’t), it was clean and some renovation and refurbishment was going on. There was a lovely square with water spouts that children were enjoying. It felt safe.
