Super welcoming, very service-minded and approachable staff. Top notch facilities with both indoor and outdoor gym, nice pool, spa, restaurants and private beach. We were very well taken care of from check-in to check-out and will definitely come back. We also got an awesome room upgrade! Despite the hotel being a bit remote (which actually attracted us to choose Myrion) there are plenty of family restaurants around, supermarkets and rental car companies. Very zen experience!

We lost our check-in because we had a problem with our car. Because of that they even changed our booking by one day forward for free and without us requesting it in advance. This was phenomenal.

Surprised me and my wife! The location, and standard of the hotel is amazing for the area! Just far enough away from the busy Platanias centre, but close enough to take advantage of the food options in the evening! The hotel was calm (the adults only limitation helped) and the staff were super friendly and helpful when needed! They also weren’t too “up themselves” - I felt at home

Fabulous location with lovely views of harbour from the balcony. Large room very clean. Very friendly and helpful front desk. We very much look forward to returning!!!

Great family run property in a quiet location.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by the experience. While it’s a budget-friendly option, it offers so much more than you’d expect at this level. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile, which really made the stay feel personal and pleasant. The hotel has been recently renovated, and it shows—everything felt fresh, clean, and more comfortable than you’d typically expect from a 2-star property. My room had a lovely sea view that was a real bonus, especially at sunrise and sunset. One of the standout features was the local breakfast from this lady, Olga . It was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the day. You can tell it’s prepared with care, offering a taste of the local culture that you don’t often get at larger, more generic hotels. Also the coffee was so nice !! If you’re looking for a simple, clean, and welcoming place to stay that doesn’t break the bank, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to travelers who value hospitality, local charm, and a great location.

Clean, beautiful and cozy hotel with great breakfast and super friendly staff. Perfect location near the old town and bus station and so on. The staff gave us recommendations for what to explore and visit and also options for different trips for example boat trip to Balos and bus for sunset in Falasarna with a pick up and drop off point 5 mins walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend :)

Amazing location and the hotel is so good looking. A little luxury feeling in a little street. The room was so cosy and nice, with a cute balcony. Highly recommend!!

The front desk was very helpful and kind, they let me leave my luggage because I arrived early for the check-in, and I got my room earlier. The room was big and also had a big tv, a nice bathroom and the air conditioning worked fine as it was really hot outside. It is 3 minutes walk to the centre of Chania and the port where there are many restaurants and shops, also 5 minutes away from the bus station.

I love this hotel, I will come again for sure. I had a big apartment with a terrace and a mini kitchen (stove/sink) included. It was super comfortable, spacious, and clean. Pleasant staff are always there to help with any question. The hotel has a swimming pool and breakfast terrace with a great view of the sea. Drinking morning coffee with a sea view was my favorite experience in this hotel. Breakfast is excellent and diverse.The hotel is in a great location in Kalamaki, just a few meters away from the bus station for bus 21 for Chania town, and the nearest beaches Aggi Apostoli and Chryssi Akti. I will gladly choose again Kalamaki and Porto Alegre Hotel.

This is the second time I've been in this hotel and it won't be the last. It's peaceful and quiet and the pool is enormous with very nice views. Always managed to find a deckchair at all times of the day. The staff is very helpful and although I did not manage to get a late checkout since the hotel was fully booked I spent the last day by the pool where there is a shower by the pool and a bathroom at the bar. Perfect stay with lots of lovely lovable kittens. There are 3 bus stops a few steps away from the hotel which makes it extremely easy to go to the centre and other places.

Every single member of the staff was polite and helpful. From the receptionists to the restaurant servers, they made us feel truly welcome.

The hotel is located in a quiet valley, close to the start of Samaria Gorge. The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast perfect for the morning hike and they offer a free shuttle service to the gorge entrance. Peaceful stay, would recommend!

Very nice team, helpfull. Uncomplicated check in. Some rooms, ours for exemple but I belive most of them, have AMAZING VIEWS on the village and the sea. Right in the Center. Still calm! The tavernas are closing before 12 and there's no party bar or discos that you hear. A relaxing stay, beautiful.

The location is perfect for everything! Just 2 min walk from the Venetian port and you can also easily go to any beach The staff, especially Olga was really lovely and helpful, and they always greet you with smiles.

The staff were fantastic and very friendly The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels etc. The breakfast was great with home cooked fresh pastries every morning it really set us up for the day. It is literally right on the beach so you can eat your breakfast 20 metres from the sea with fantastic views. It is a short walk into town with lots of cafes,restaurants and shops. We will definitely be going back here as we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the staff.

The location is exceptional, 5 min walk from bus station and right in the city centre. You are basically in the middle of the main attractions. - The cleanliness was exceptional, very fast and so effectively planned that we were never bothered by the cleaning service. Never experienced anything like this before. - The staff everywhere is amazing (reception, cleaning, restaurant). They give you the best tips where to go and every time you need something, they are all willing to help you. Amazing team! - The bedrooms are well equipped and very quiet. - Great value for the money!

Our room was decorated for our Anniversary. The staff provided a free bottle of wine and fruits.
