Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was compact but perfectly adequate. Hotel is very well located to waterfront. Directions to self service laundry (actually near to bus station) were very clear. Great service Euro6.50 to wash a load dry for 30 mins + washing powder. Breakfast was good and varied.

What an amazing little family run hotel right on the port. Absolutely everything was fantastic from time of check in to departure after an amazing breakfast. We travel a lot and stay in amazing properties but this small 3☆ hotel could teach many other hotels on how to do it right. We had no choice of room as it was fully booked and that was sad as it was a bit small for the 2 of us but as you are never in the room who cares. Beds and pillows super comfortable and good size showers. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best we have had in Crete as everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Parking available behind the hotel which was a big plus.

The Elysia is such a lovely place to stay...extremely comfortable with innovative design. The bed and the shower were perfect. The breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel. We also had both a lunch and dinner at their restaurant which should get a Michelin star. Best of all, every staff member should be commended for their superior service. A totally memorable stay in beautiful Chania!

We loved everything about the boutique hotel Aisha. It is a little gem and undoubtedly a luxury hotel with a unique style and a lot of attention to detail. I have to admit that it is the most gorgeous place we have stayed at so far and would love to go back. The building itself, the main entrance and the interior space are spectacular! The place is very comfortable, warm, inviting and impressive with its high ceilings, history and exclusive interior design including all the small details of high quality which make it obvious that the owners do care about their clients. The location is excellent, right at the heart of the old city and the old harbor and only a few minutes walk from the new town. Ms. Natasha whom we were in contact with is a lovely lady, highly professional, extremely helpful and very responsive. The check-in went smoothly even though we booked last minute, one hour before arriving at the hotel. We highly recommend it.

Everything was great!! We really enjoyed our holiday here, this hotel is an absolute gem! The staff was really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and versatile- every morning they put different traditional food both sweet and salty, and no matter what time you arrived to eat everything was always refilled. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant as well, the quality of the food was superb, so don’t miss it to trying it out.The beach was beautiful, calm and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing vacation! Location is well connected with Chania, the local bus line is really close to the hotel, less than 5 min walk. Rooms were cleaned every day deeply, and the bed was also very comfortable. Absolutely worth it!! We will definitely return here! :)

We stayed here a couple of days. The location is perfect, right in the center of the beautifull part of the old town, in a cute little street with the back yard. It's about 15min by foot from the beach and also close to the central bus station which makes it perfect for visiting other near sorrounding places. The staff was very pleasant. We had a great stay.

It's a really lovely, quaint and visually appealing place...

It's a really lovely, quaint and visually appealing place with plenty of shops, cafes and food options. We found everything we needed for our month long stay. The beaches were quite small, but lovely, and the museums were interesting to visit. We decided not to drive there, as the roads are narrow in many places, but the bus station is right in the heart of the town if needed.

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping,...

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping, Kissamos is hard to beat. Close to the port for Balos-Gramvousa excursions and secluded for a wonderful relaxed time with your loved one. Gramvousa Restaurant is a must, a short drive to a memorable dining experience. Loved snorkeling and fish sightings around rocky areas. Pictures cannot capture the panoramic breath-taking setting.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only.

From Souda, the bus is ~10 minutes to Chania for 1.60€ only. No need for rental car nor searching for parking -- just take bus. Use rental car for pleasure scenic routes into mountains especially Milo's Restaurant. But only during sunlight, not at night!! The trip there is well worthwhile for the food & service, the trip itself is adventurous, scenic & breathtaking because of height.

Good beach with beds and shades.

Good beach with beds and shades. Lovely clear water, great place to swim. Nice tavernas. Great backdrop of the white mountains and the castle when you are in the water. Not too many people in October but can imagine it would be crowded in high season. Surrounding area is dry rocky and barren. Come for the beach and Imbros gorge but not for a scenic walk.

There are two places I highly recommend for eating.

There are two places I highly recommend for eating. One is a restaurant called Arodou Restaurant, and the other is Znkag Bakery & Pastry (sorry, I’m not sure how to spell it in Greek). Both are very close to Anton’s Home.

Lovely little village with very friendly people working in the shops and restaurants. Petra is an amazing family-run restaurant with delicious local specialities run by extremely kind people. We went there on this first night and didn't look elsewhere, kept going back and tried as many Greek specialities as we could.

In this village truly feel like stepping back in time. People were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more delightful. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to appreciate the simple pleasures and sea is fantastic. I highly recommend a visit if you ever get the chance!

It's a lovely resort.

It's a lovely resort. Visited many times but never stayed before. Plenty of shops and bars but not enough tavernas! A lot of hotels have been built over the past few years ensuring more tourists but it was difficult finding a table in a taverna on an evening and we visited in September so I would say it's impossible in the height of the season. If you like the beach then Kalivaki Beach is a must for you. All sand and no pebbles ! The surrounding area is very scenic & can recommend going on one of the train rides through the local villages. An excellent day out!

All beaches were clean and tidy.

All beaches were clean and tidy. Enjoyed by the locals, often staying past sundown. Lots of tavernas to enjoy. Short walk to 2 supermarkets if needed, well stocked. Bought cheap loungers from supermarket, which saved a huge amount on sunbeds, as we were there for three weeks!
