This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed at for the value we paid. The location is perfect, the staff is absolutely amazing, and they try to meet all your needs. We arrived extremely early due to an early flight, and they managed to accommodate our room as early as they could. The business center is perfect if you need to work during your stay. The rooms are bright, very modern with smart lighting. The breakfast was perfect with a la carte options. The gym is not the biggest but perfect for your daily workout. Additionally, the pool is nice to chill on the rooftop with the possibility of having some drinks in it (highly recommend the espresso martini). This was a perfect stay and we cannot wait to come back to this AMAZING hotel! The GM was present every day and greeted guests, which made everything even better. On the last day, we asked if it was possible to leave some food in their fridge until we came back to pick up our luggage, and this was happily done! Just WOW!

Fantastic hotel, thanks to all the amazing people working there. Service minded, helpful with a smile on their face. Clean room. Delicious breakfast with fresh vegetables, fruit and other nice foods. Location perfect centrally in Chania but still very quiet.

I am delighted we chose the Arkadi Hotel for our stay. We were visiting Crete to celebrate my partner's birthday, so the very polite staff at reception noticed that and upgraded us to a better room with an amazing terrace view. Besides that on the actual date, we received a piece of cake up to our room. This is a remark about the hotel's values and understanding of true hospitality. Moreover, the hotel has a great interior and location. It felt boutique and Scandinavian, the room was clean and functionally well-designed and the breakfast was nice as well. I would definitely recommend and will probably visit again next summer.

Everything about El Greco is simply wonderful. Location, accommodation, breakfast, facilities and staff. El Greco was also so accommodating when we missed our ferry to Santorini that they happily extended our stay for a few more nights taking extra care of us for the additional days. It is located at the heart of Old Town in Chania, a 2min walk from the parking lot / taxi meeting point, 20min from the city's central bus station, 10min walk from the shopping center and just a 10min walk from Nea Chora Beach (the best part). Next door is an incredibly good restaurant called Kalderimi which is a must-try when in Chania too! Thanks to El Greco for making our stay so wonderfully memorable!

We chose Anemos for our honeymoon and were not disappointed! It's absolute five star quality and worth every penny. We were so looked after. We did half board and massively enjoyed the breakfast and evening buffets. We also opted for two days full board which was great to experience too. Overall an amazing ten days, thank you!

I love Agia Marina—it has beautiful beaches, great restaurants, plenty of shops, and stunning views. You can easily walk to Platanias or Stalos. It’s also easy to reach Falasarna Beach and further on to Elafonissi Beach and the Samaria Gorge. Agia Marina also has excellent tourist infrastructure—you’ll easily find car rentals, bus stops with frequent connections to Chania, as well as many beachfront bars and cafés. It’s a great place both for a quiet and relaxing holiday and for a more active stay (water sports, excursions). Another highlight is the island of Agioi Theodoroi visible from the shore, which adds to the charm of the landscape.

For those who want a quiet get-away and yet close shopping, Kissamos is hard to beat. Close to the port for Balos-Gramvousa excursions and secluded for a wonderful relaxed time with your loved one. Gramvousa Restaurant is a must, a short drive to a memorable dining experience. Loved snorkeling and fish sightings around rocky areas. Pictures cannot capture the panoramic breath-taking setting.

Very quiet in mid April when I went.

Very quiet in mid April when I went. Places only started opening up the day I left on 21 April. Beautiful clean beaches and water but nothing else to do, so when the weather was bad it was a bit boring! Had to drive to find things to do.

All beaches were clean and tidy.

All beaches were clean and tidy. Enjoyed by the locals, often staying past sundown. Lots of tavernas to enjoy. Short walk to 2 supermarkets if needed, well stocked. Bought cheap loungers from supermarket, which saved a huge amount on sunbeds, as we were there for three weeks!

It is a very nice tourist town. It offers options for tours and visiting other beaches, but this one was perfect for me, as I was travelling for work and it was conveniently near my conference venue.

We have recently returned from an amazing week in Crete staying in Southern Paradise Villas. The villa is amazing. The bedrooms all have on suits and the beds are so comfortable. The villa is modern and fresh with everything you need and the outside pool area was amazing. Added bonus the weather was amazing. The local amenities and beach are very close too. Yes there were villas adjacent to our villa but everyone was quiet, respectful and discreet. And yes there are people living their lives around the location of the villa but that’s the charm This holiday delivered everything we were looking for in our time away. Sun sea, very lovely villa and pool and freedom to come and go as we please.The host Leo was lovely and takes great effort in maintaining his villas to a high standard. We will be returning.

It's a lovely resort.

It's a lovely resort. Visited many times but never stayed before. Plenty of shops and bars but not enough tavernas! A lot of hotels have been built over the past few years ensuring more tourists but it was difficult finding a table in a taverna on an evening and we visited in September so I would say it's impossible in the height of the season. If you like the beach then Kalivaki Beach is a must for you. All sand and no pebbles ! The surrounding area is very scenic & can recommend going on one of the train rides through the local villages. An excellent day out!

In this village truly feel like stepping back in time.

In this village truly feel like stepping back in time. People were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more delightful. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to appreciate the simple pleasures and sea is fantastic. I highly recommend a visit if you ever get the chance!
