My evaluation is strongly influenced by the period when we visited the island – August. Therefore, I do not recommend visiting the island in August, as it is extremely overcrowded. Also, the steep streets and narrow access alleys become even more difficult to navigate during this time of year, and you will need to fully rely on your driving skills, often pushing your car to its limits. We missed some of the island’s attractions because of these inconveniences. That being said, the island has many beautiful places to see and experience – beaches, breathtaking views, tavernas, welcoming people, and much more. I recommend visiting the island in September, ideally for 5–10 days, and exploring the most popular places early in the morning. This way, you will get the best of what the island has to offer.Guest review bySebastianRomania - 8.0

Kavos was great fun with lots of bars and a nice compact strip. Lots of excursion options (I recommend the day trip to Corfu old town) and a beach just next to the strip. Only thing that let it down was it was not very busy at all end of august so a lot of the bars were quite empty and prompted reps to almost harass you into the bars. Lots of great places to eat but absolutely ginormous portions which I found a bit overwhelming at times. Drinks aren’t the nicest but with how cheap they are you can hardly complain.Guest review byPoppyNetherlands - 10.0

It is a very touristy area, not my ideal, but many beaches within a close distance, swimming, beach bars, restaurants, opportunities to rent boats or a tour (Recommended! I booked with Paleotours.) I always found a spot at the beaches, especially early in the day or evening. Everything you need is there and it is stunning.Guest review byTanyaUnited States - 10.0
We have been coming to sidari for 7 years.
We have been coming to sidari for 7 years. There's something for everyone, whether you want quiet restaurants, traditional greek cuisine/tavernas or modern amercian, mexican, indian, chinese dishes. There is entertainment on the main strip every night from quizes, bingo, karoke to tribute acts, live bands, football and rugby matches televised. All family friendly. There's also plenty to do, the beach is lovely, there are pedaloes, quad bikes, paragliding, snorkelling, boat trips etc. The biggest thing that draws us back are the people. They are so friendly and welcoming andGuest review byJonesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Easy to get there using public transport, good spot to stay if you want to explore the entire island. And enough to do at night as well if you don't want to travel after dark. Without it being one of the party cities.Guest review bySusanNetherlands - 10.0
The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely outstanding.
The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely outstanding. There was a wide variety of options, from fresh pastries, breads, and cereals to delicious hot dishes, fresh fruit, and high-quality cold cuts and cheeses. Everything was beautifully presented and constantly replenished. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors excellent, and even the coffee and juices were of great quality. It truly exceeded expectations and made for a perfect start to the day. Lunch and dinner were equally impressive. The variety of dishes was excellent, with something for every taste, and the quality of the ingredients was clearly top-notch. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making each meal a real pleasure. The internet connection was fast and reliable, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job – the rooms and common areas were always spotless. The cleaners were friendly, efficient, and attentive to every detail, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The staff at the bars were skilled and welcoming, and the only small suggestion would be to add an extra bartender during busy hours to make service even faster and reduce the workload for the existing team, who were already doing an excellent job. The reception staff were extremely kind, professional, and welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is to make check-in a bit quicker – perhaps by providing a QR code with all the necessary information, so that guests who arrive tired can review details at their own pace. The staff uniforms looked elegant and professional, and the rooftop was absolutely phenomenal – a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. Since the hotel is adults-only, I would also recommend having more upbeat daytime DJ music to enhance the lively atmosphere and make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel offers exceptional service, comfort, and hospitality, and I would be delighted to return.Guest review byFilip RadonjicMontenegro - 8.0
A little to remote located on the north side of the island.
A little to remote located on the north side of the island. The village had a very quiet feel to it which is fine if you like it that way. The beach is excellent but can be exposed to winds and rolling waves.Guest review byStephen BakerAlbania - 4.0
Ypsos is not very nice in itself.
Ypsos is not very nice in itself. The beach is super small and directly next to a busy road with fast driving cars. Crossing it can be dangerous. I wouldn't recommend it, given the large amount of other beautiful beaches the island has.Guest review byCarloSpain - 8.0

I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.Guest review byVeronicaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Dassia is probably the best place to travel all around Corfu: old town, beaches, historical places. There is locally a small sand beach, few tavernas, enough to find reasons to spent time also there... My advice?... Enjoy Greek hospitality, food and sea!Guest review bySorin AdrianRomania
