- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 463 reviewsBreakfast was excellent. Nice variety and it tasted great. The room was outstanding. Everything looked clean and modern. This hotel was rated as a 3-star. It is easily 4-star quality at a 3-star price. The bathroom was immaculate with nice tile and a very nice shower. By far, the best bathroom I have ever had in a hotel--regardless of stars. I typically avoid 3-star hotels because in many European countries (Spain, Italy, etc.) 3-star hotel rooms tend to be dated and falling apart (usually the bathroom). I am so glad I was presently surprised by my last-minute vacation hotel booking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to vacation on Krk Island. This hotel is also pet-friendly so it is also ideal for couples with a pet.Guest review byDon I.United States
- From $152.11 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,652 reviewsVery friendly staff. Very strict in the check in time which was at 14.00 so we had to wait for half an hour and then had to wait another 20 minutes because by then a queue had build. Not very efficient Very close to the city of Krk, like 10 mins walk, parking spaces were small but as we did not use the car for those days, not a problem. Sea entrance just past the pool with several entry points en places to sit or lay in the sun. Very nice. Very good and extensive breakfast and dinner was included in our deal and wine and beer were also included. Hotel was very clean and well organized.Guest review byMarcelBelgium
- From $192.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 989 reviewsThe resort is a great base location for exploring the island. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever encountered on our trips around Europe. We booked park view and actually got a park, pool and the see view from our balcony. There was a nice beach in front of the hotel with clear seewater and free use of beach chairs. We liked everything and will for sure return someday.Guest review byŽelimirCroatia
- From $241.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 378 reviewsThe location from the port is good and allows a nice walking, access to beach, different resort services like the spa also really good (add charges apply of course), the personnel from Spa were really kind and the one from restaurant too, they offered different activities during the week, so people can spend some good chilling time here.Guest review byArmandoColombia

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia - 6.0

Hvar centre is over priced and if you do not get recommendations where to eat you could end up paying a lot of money for poor quality meals. The island itself is beautiful and worth exploring on your on own. Jelsa would be a much better based than Hvar old town, where a glass of wine is half the price!Guest review byPhilG75United Kingdom - 10.0

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.Guest review byMayaAustralia - 10.0
Perfect for a chill holiday.
Perfect for a chill holiday. Beautiful, lots to do, great restaurants. Would recommend the Golden Horn beach for a swim, booking SUP boards for some exercise and wine tasting at Stina winery. If you decide not to do the wine tasting tour, it's a lovely place to sit and drink their amazing whites on the promenade overlooking the sea. My favourite restaurant was Vendetta - Sushi boats for 2 are a must! Family run Pumparela restaurant at the Port was also superb, delicious food (including vegetarian for my daughter) and really friendly. EnjoyGuest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Stone beach with calm, crystal and warm water.
Stone beach with calm, crystal and warm water. Very good for children. It was really crowded at the end of August, so I advise to arrive early in the beach otherwise you won't find a spot. There is no sunshade or chairs available to rent. The restaurants only offer local warm beers. Horrible! Local wines are very good.Guest review byJB DinizBrazil - 10.0

Very pretty historic town with shingle beaches nearby. Quite touristy but still has a lot of charm. The castle and the cathedral are both worth visiting. The restaurants are decent and we had polite, friendly and efficient service at every one we went too.Guest review byGregoryUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Malinska presents a different atmosphere compared to other cities like Zadar, Pula, or Rovinj. It feels very human-sized and pleasant, not crowded at all. It's worth noting that most beaches are urban and have concrete surfaces, with few offering a gradual entry into the water. However, the rocky, cove beaches are beautiful and practical.Guest review byGabor CsontosHungary - 10.0

We did a food and wine bicycle tour of Korcula which was the highlight of our trip there! So fun, great wine, awesome hospitality. On Thursday nights, there is a festive traditional dance performance we attended called The Mareska sword dance. It was great! Restaurant Bordo had the best sushi and cocktails!Guest review byChristyUnited States - 10.0

Stayed in the old town which is a gem of a place, on a peninsula with lovely winding alleyways and churches. So well maintained and clean. No litter or graffiti and everything picture perfect! And there were good places to swim on small beaches below the bell towers. There was also a large sandy bay about 10 mins walk outside the old town near the Valamar hotel. We ate at the beachside bar on the seaside promenade in the old town ( at the bottom of the cliff), they did great veggie food and other options. We also loved the vegan restaurant on the main alley in the old town. We would love to return.Guest review byKatieUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.Guest review byPéter
