Dubrovnik is simply breathtaking – a city that feels like it...
Dubrovnik is simply breathtaking – a city that feels like it belongs in both history books and fantasy worlds. Walking through the Old Town is like stepping onto a movie set: massive stone walls, marble streets polished by centuries of footsteps, red rooftops glowing under the sun, and the endless sparkle of the Adriatic Sea right beside you. For Game of Thrones fans, it’s pure magic – King’s Landing comes alive with every corner, gate, and tower. You can easily imagine dragons flying above the walls while you wander around Fort Lovrijenac, Pile Gate, or the Jesuit Stairs. Even if you’ve never watched the series, the atmosphere here is absolutely cinematic. The vibe of Dubrovnik is a perfect mix of history, culture, and laid-back coastal charm. By day, you can explore the ancient city walls, take a cable car ride for panoramic views, or swim in the crystal-clear sea right outside the fortresses. By night, the town glows with warm lights, buzzing restaurants, and live music echoing through hidden alleys. And then there’s the food – fresh seafood, black risotto, grilled fish, oysters from nearby Ston, paired with local wines that taste like pure Mediterranean sunshine. Every meal feels like a celebration of the sea and the land. Dubrovnik is not just a city, it’s a feeling: timeless, majestic, yet welcoming and full of life. It’s a place where history meets fantasy, and where every moment feels like a scene you’ll remember forever. Truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.Guest review byCosminRomania - 10.0

Cavtat is a beautiful place, with many attractions great for walking and relaxing. It is very easy to get around, you can take the water taxi to visit Dubrovnik or local bus. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy the local food along the promenade. The sunsets are wonderful in the evening. It is very safe and the people are very friendly.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Orebić is a really pleasant small town with nice sea promenade. Not too crowded even in peak times in high season. We enjoyed having a dinner at Mimbeli restaurant. We utilized parking next to hotel Crystal, as it was for half the price than the other parking places. Reccomend taking a schelduled boat trip to Kurčula town (hourly departures, not expensive).Guest review byLeošCzech Republic - 10.0
Vela Luka is a hidden gem!
Vela Luka is a hidden gem! It’s not overly touristic, which was exactly the appeal for us. The days are slow and relaxed, the food is delicious, and the people are lovely — it feels like a more authentic side of Croatia. It’s the perfect place to unwind, but at the same time there’s plenty to do. We went scuba diving, spent time at the beach, tried different restaurants, and enjoyed walking around. Honestly, we could have easily stayed at least two weeks just relaxing and exploring the different areas. We were there for 3 days and 3 nights, and it wasn’t nearly enough!Guest review byPascale AljureColombia - 10.0
We loved the apartment and the location.
We loved the apartment and the location. It was great to be able to rent e-bikes and travel all over the local area of Lumbarda and the Old City. We also had a rental car and drove to a beach that was beautiful about 29 minutes away and all over the island. There is a great restaurant nearby that we went to on the water. The food is excellent. We had a steak dish and a seafood pasta. Both were delicious.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The Arboretum Trsteno was an interesting place, a respite from the heat. It was cool in the trees. Game of Thrones episodes are filmed at the fountain! But there is no cafe, only a vending machine. Walking down to the sea for a swim was worth it, but you need sturdy footwear, water and snacks.Guest review byClaire ZingelNew Zealand - 6.0

It was very quiet, which I liked but I went with my daughter (22). There was not much happening in Slano. I think it's more for retirement aged people. Supermarkets were dreadful Picturesque though and the sea was so cleanGuest review byFiIreland - 10.0
