If I could give this place an 11 I would. What a great value for a hotel that's so clean, well run and well located. It's a very quiet hotel on a side street and the rooms are all off the street. In a busy city like yogyakarta its so important to have a quiet night's sleep. It was a pleasure to start each day with a coffee in the lush garden. Rita and her staff made sure every day was pleasant and always offered to clean our room when we stepped out for the day. Her knowledge of yogyakarta was incredible and it really made our trip. I wish I could take this hotel with me wherever I go

Hotel manager Nanang was really attentive. Coffee was excellent. Really clean. Music choice was a plus. There were interesting board games. Quiet hotel although its on a busy area. The design of the hotel in general and the garden in particular was really nice.

I don't even know where to begin. As a lover of food, the breakfast buffet was something I always looked forward to, the staff always checked in on us, making sure we had everything we wanted. We could request things that weren't on display and everything was so well made. The room was comfortable, we got a deluxe, despite the rain, we got to take advantage of the balcony and the swing. The staff was something else. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Mas Sugeng always came to our table to offer freshly baked croissants and mbak Peni and mbak Sri catered to our needs and our questions concerning tourist spots and restaurants and such. Mbak Lovas on the front desk was very accommodating, along with other staff that were always warm in welcoming us back as we walked through the front door. The facilities! Free bike rental, vouchers for scooter and angkringan, free spa and sauna, very nice and big swimming pool area! The gym! And everything else in between, you've got everything here. I noticed that people were keen to play golf here too, it was obvious to see. I can keep going but I'd better stop before I ran out of characters here 😆

    Located about a 10-minutes walk from Yogyakarta Station. The staff were all friendly and always greeted with a warm smile. Breakfast has a lot of variety and is delicious. Breakfast time is for 5 hours. From 5 am to 10 am. I requested that I prefer a upper floor room, and they changed it right away. I had to take a taxi to the airport because of flight time changing. and they arranged me a taxi with reasonable price. A great value hotel. Highly recommended.

    there is an outdoor food centre just nearby, the local supermarket and laundromat are about 10 minutes walking. the location is in the middle between Malioboro street and Prambanan so getting around between both were convinience. If you want to go to a bigger and classy mall it was not that far away as well by using Grab which is much cheaper to go to. Prices for food is really affordable as there are restaurants that are student friendly budget that we can enjoy.

    Couldn't say much as it was a village. We didn't explore much outside the resort except eat at the restaurant nightly. The locals are friendly though but that's probably because we spoke Bahasa to them. We tried to cycle around with the free bicycles offered by our resort but it proved too strenuous as the area is hilly! Cycling downhill was fun but I couldn't say the same for cycling uphill.

    Its an absolutely brilliant place to visit with some hidden gems, Borobudur temple, prambanan temple, yogyakarta city, Jomblang caves. You can easily spend close to a week there and city has a great arts scene and lot of live performances in the evening. City crowds are absolutely lively and fun :). People are relaxed and evenings were a lot of fun. Ramayana Ballet is a must visit, its a 90 minute performance absolutely stunning. Water Castle of Yogyakarta is a small visit along the way but quite beautiful along with the royal palace. Malioboro square has lot of shopping options and food options are quite good as well. Visit the cafe next to Bank Indonesia, its a nice surprise.

    I spent 3 nights in Yogyakarta and I loved it.

    I spent 3 nights in Yogyakarta and I loved it. It’s a less touristy city, full of culture and history. The pace of life is slower compared to Bali, but still very enjoyable. Gojek and Grab also work well here. I highly recommend not missing Prambanan and Borobudur. Both are absolutely worth visiting, and if you have the time, it’s best to do them on separate days so you can take your time to explore and enjoy each site fully. Keep in mind that not everyone speaks English, so I often used a translator to communicate.
