The food was amazing especially for those that love seafood and the breakfast was super with a fabulous menu. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable. All the staff lovely and friendly and the lovely fire lighting in the cosy area, just what you would want in January. Could not have picked a better place for a night away. Great location, in the center of town...Baltimore is tiny so that wasn't hard to achieve. We were traveling off season so everything was quiet, I'm sure high season might be very different as far as noise level. The room was larger than most, I was traveling with a friend and for a small older hotel, we were both able to open our luggage at the same time, It's the little things in life while you're traveling. The staff was super nice and very accommodating. We had a beautiful view of the water. Breakfast was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was amazing, loved the view and my expectations were all met. The staff were extremely helpful, when more towels were needed they were there. Anything actually that was needed came through. The location was perfect, what a great walking city Cork is. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job and even in the lobby it was always kept very clean

The hotel was so accommodating. They let us check in very early when we arrived, and arranged for a small dressing gown to be put into the room for my little girl to wear down to the swimming pool. This was a lovely touch. They also placed a teddy bear into the room for her. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Lots to do around the city and outside. A lot of gigs and an active night life. A car is a must if you want to see the natural beauty around the city. The city gaol is a must. Very eye opening in a depressing sort of way but really makes you appreciate being born in this century!

Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. I would recommend the walking Tour (Jason's) that leaves from the Visitor Centre, and the fantastic Harbour Boat Tour, and if your mobile a visit to Cork City and the beautiful and historic town of Cobh.

First Class - excellent staff throughout the Hotel - highly professional and friendly with it. Main dining room has to be experienced - attendance is an event in itself. Lovely food served in a timely way. Waiting staff are great to watch at work and they do what they do in a quiet but showy way. Lovely to sit in the hall and enjoy the two log fires and the comfy arm-chairs. A relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. Old fashioned but we like it that way - no squeaky floorboards - calm and quiet.

The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient. Unfortunately, the restaurants close very early (between 9 and 10 pm). So it is very difficult to get a decent late meal. We would recommend the Khao Asian restaurant, it was fantastic. We would NOT recommend rhe Hibernian Hotel. The food is absolutely awful.
