The hotel went out of their way to accommodate our two children with small slippers and little gifts, that we were not at all expecting. It made them feel welcome and was a lovely gesture. The bathroom was also equipped to handle the needs of smaller users, which was great! The breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. The location was very comfortable, within walking distance of all the most important things to see in Ravenna. Finding a parking spot in the vicinity was very easy and inexpensive.

We stayed one night and everything was excellent. The staff spoke excellent English, which was a benefit for us as we were tired after a long journey from Canada’s west coast. The front desk manager was very helpful- he arranged the payment for our on-street parking spot (the hotel also has its own parking garage), and personally brought extra towels to our room and fixed a connection problem with the wi-fi as well. The restaurant dinner was good and the free breakfast selections were outstanding- the best we’ve ever found in Italy.

The location of the hotel could not be better: across a tree-lined bicycle and pedestrian walkway from the sandy beach. The hotel is super comfortable with a huge lounge and bar, a large indoor dining room, and a lovely terrace for dining (for a certain category of guests, not sure what that was). The exteror is beautifullly planted with bougainvillia, and multitudes of other trees, shrubs and flowers. The room was like a ship's cabin: though small,it was brilliantly designed with closets, drawers, shelves, a desk, good lighting and two balconies. Italian hotels rarely have room to store your belongings, so this was a huge plus. The room keeps to the blue and white theme of the entire hotel, very fresh. The warm, salt-water pool was divine, absolutely refreshing and never crowded. There are huge, wonderful breakfast buffets with an enormous choice of fresh foods, and the food at dinner was remarkably good, especially for a hotel dining room: fresh fish, excellent salads, interesting primi and appetizers. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, especially Antonio, who was very helpful to us, and the entire facility was sparkling clean. We also liked that the vacationing population was almost entirely Italian. We saw few Americans, Brits or Germans. It's more fun to be hearing Italian all around you, especially since Italians do not speak loudly, as a rule. Wonderful place! We would go back in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious with an excellent view of the sea. The reception staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. I didn't eat any dinners in the restaurant, but the breakfast was ample and satisfying. The staff in the dining room were all exceptional....especially Vito, who made amazing decorated cappuccinos for me. The cleaning staff were fast, thorough, and friendly also.

Beautiful Rimini – we absolutely loved it!

Beautiful Rimini – we absolutely loved it! We had a wonderful time in Rimini and really enjoyed everything the city has to offer. The beaches are beautiful, clean and very well organised, and the sea was absolutely gorgeous – clear, warm and perfect for swimming and relaxing. The food was another highlight of our trip. We ate extremely well, with plenty of delicious Italian food and great places to choose from, whether for lunch near the beach or dinner in the evening. Rimini also has such a lovely holiday atmosphere. We loved spending the day at the beach and then going out for walks, food and drinks in the evening. There is plenty to do, but at the same time it still feels relaxing. We also found it a great base for exploring the surrounding area, with easy connections for day trips. Overall, Rimini exceeded our expectations. Beautiful beaches, amazing sea, delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere. We would happily come back! ❤️🇮🇹

Compact city centre, easy to walk around and visit the many historic sights. There are tourist buses from the Piazza Maggiore and Piazza Minghetti, with a commentary in English, but it is easy to get to the sights by foot, or ordinary bus. Basilica San Luca is well worth a visit, and the "sky experience" (after the 110 steps up a narrow spiral staircase) gives fantastic views over Bologna and surrounding countryside. Loads of restaurants and cafes, its difficult to decide where to eat, but all meals we had were excellent.

Nice town, lots of activity in the summer.

Nice town, lots of activity in the summer. Lots of pedestrian nicely done with trees and flowers (jasmine smell all over mmmm). The shopping is really good and cheap, lots of outlet stores. Sand beach is interesting, though you have to pay for deck chairs (55 euros !) Trip to nearby San Marino and Rimini is recommended. Near Rimini there is also aquapark an Mini Italia. Worth seeing.

The historic centre of Ravenna is lovely to walk around, with lots of sights to see and a bounty of cafes, bars and restaurants. There are wide avenues and quaint lanes - all remarkably clean and well-kept - and everywhere feels safe. The market near Dante's tomb has unusual arts and crafts, a nice contrast to the souvenir shops. I quite possibly misunderstood the info for getting a shuttle to the nearby beaches, but my own fault or not that was a few wasted (very hot!) hours. Loved everything else!

Cesenatico is a nice little coastal town, with a wonderful harbor full of ancient historical ships - open air museum - and a promenade full of restaurants; impressive are the long boulevards flanked by old maritime pine trees. It's also the home town of mythical Marco Pantani, bike road runner, with several monuments dedicated to this beloved hero killed by italian Mafia.

Parma is elegant, historical anf friendly.

Parma is elegant, historical anf friendly. with cuisine par excellence. Parma is a real jewel box. Our Bed and breakfast, Pedoro Merlo, is a hidden gem. Its a beautiful place, a transformed farm house. Francesco and Angela are the wondedful hosts and owners. We had a lovely stay in a beautifully appointed two bedroom and library reading room suite. Breakfast was an abundant array of choices with attentive service and care from the owners. The stunning city of Parma is close by..five minutes by car, or bus. The surrounding area if the inn itself has an excellent variety of restaurants, and even a nearby medieval castle, working moat and a charning village around it.

The problem here is barely anyone speaks English do it is hard to order taxis and was very isolated. When you could manage to convert you needed a taxi ride they price gouged charging 26 Euro for an 8 minute ride!! I would not choose this destination unless you are visiting the Misano WorldCircuit and then book early so you can stay close by

This is a beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere, especially for families. The weather was lovely, and the beaches are very enjoyable with children. The sea stays shallow for quite a good distance from the shore, which makes it great for kids to play safely. The main downside is that it can get quite crowded, and most beaches are private, so you have to pay for access. Prices vary depending on the beach and location, but for example, two sunbeds and one umbrella can cost around €35 in the front row and about €22 in the back rows. Overall, Rimini is a small, charming and very family-friendly city with a great holiday atmosphere.
