WOWOWOWOW! My husband and I took a three week honeymoon in Italy and this was by far our favorite stop. we wished we would have booked more time at the resort. The beds are insanely comfortable - we could have stayed in bed all day but decided to soak in the healing waters and left with our nervous systems completely restored. I can’t recommend this resort enough. We are already planning another trip just to experience this resort again! Make sure to make a reservation at La Stellata - the restaurant down the road… it was our favorite meal at the resort. complimentary breakfast was also amazing!

The perfect place to stay! My partner and I are road-tripping around Tuscany, a friend of us suggested to visit this place, and he couldn’t be more assertive. This is just a gem in southern Tuscany, we were coming for one night and decided to extend our stay. The staff is amazing, they are very welcoming and helpful, they really want you to enjoy your stay. Don’t miss breakfast, and if possible follow all suggestions from the staff to enjoy the rest of the town on your own. Thanks for a great stay!

Breakfast was great, and the front desk person, Gabriel, was such a pleasure to speak to! He was incredible friendly, personable, and willing to answer any questions and offer any tidbits and facts. (Fun fact, he loves cats!!) Gabriel also explained how to use the bidet, and also literally pin-dropped on Google Maps on my phone places to visit and go to! I also got to try wild boar pasta (Pappardelle al Ragù di Cinghiale) at his recommendation, and it was delicious. He gave us a brief rundown of the town's history (Etruscan Tombs, Tufo stone building, etc) and attended to our every need. Although we only exchanged greetings with the owner, Luciano, he was super friendly and kind, and we could see him walking to and from the restaurant (short 5 minute walk outside) and you could clearly see he takes pride in this wonderful sanctuary. Sovana is indeed a hidden gem, and the town's size is tiny, but that is what makes it so magical - It's an escape from the daily hustle and bustle of city life. Our room was a good size as well as nice and quiet. The resort also has it's own gated private parking lot for parking, which made our lives so much easier as we were struggling to figure out how the paid parking worked (Paid parking lot was adjacent)

The English speaking reception was very friendly, welcoming us to the place, very smooth check in, some one bringing us to our mobile home. The mobile home was a bit old but functionable.. separate bedrooms for the children and 2 bathrooms very convenient.. although the one shower was a bit small. Actually everything was a bit tight, but I guess that is the case in a mobilehome. The restaurant was excellent.. great service of a very very friendly lady, who spoke perfect english. We had some great food, it was though not very cheap.. but seen the quality and service we took that for granted.. We only stayed one night so we might not have the best basics to give a fair review. I really really enjoyed the fact that we were under the pine trees, there were many young people and I felt like being in the forest . The nice terrace gave us a nice evening and breakfastseating.. comfortable chair and sunbeds are available.. A welcome/instruction card with phonenumber reception, extras and prices, a map of the camping and some folders about the area would be a plus..

It’s very cute and quaint with a variety of camping types (personal tents and campers but also rentable mobile homes and tent houses). I love that there is not auto traffic though the campground which makes it quiet and safe for walking. The mobile home we rented was clean and comfortable. All linens were included which was appreciated as we were traveling by bike. The beach was really nice and the water was very shallow for a long ways out.

The area of the village is very comfortable. Lots of shade, which allows you to stay cool even on the hottest days. Nice little house/tent with everything you need (kitchen, shower, air conditioning and a wide terrace) Good sandy beach was close to our house - just 1 minute to the sea. Free canoes and paddle boards on the beach Nice seafood restaurant + pizza and ice-cream for kids directly on the beach.

Impeccably run campsite on beach in remote, non-touristy area. We admired the design of our 5 person lodge tent, with 2 BR and BA, full kitchen and deck. Great private restaurant on grounds and a store, very quiet, friendly. The area seemed safe since no one locked up their bikes except electric bikes. Good compact design of site, not too far to walk to the beach.

Grosseto is not directly by the sea but has a very pretty and lively historic centre, with a few very good restaurants and ice cream shops, which makes it a good base for exploring the region. It is easily reachable by train. Getting around is possible by bus but requires some planning, as regional buses are few in a day (use the local auto buses app, AT Autolinee Toscane). Nearby must see include Alberese nature reserve (Maremma) and Castiglione della Pescaia. The closest beach is Marina di Grosseto. Another option is to take the train to Follonica (nearby town by the sea). Best ice cream: Le Bontà (next to the BnB), Essenza and Mimi e Coco.

Quaint little town with so much to offer! Relaxing holiday vibe, with an amazing shoreline and excellent restaurants both on the promenade and in the old town centre. Ideal for adults and families with babies and tiny toddlers. Not recommended for teenagers unless they are happy to just swim, cycle and read quietly under an umbrella. One can explore the other bays in the vicinity, but I would recommend you just park your car and leave it there throughout your stay.

We loved staying in this bed and breakfast place! It is family owned business and they all do everything they can, above and beyond, so that their guests will feel comfortable and happy. The building was recently renovated and beautiful, the room was big and very comfortable, and the location could not be better! Few minutes from the beach, restaurants, and the promenade. Orbetello is a sweet town with wonderful shops and cafes and streets to explore. Parking was easy, as we visited in March (off season). The restaurant evening meal isn't cheap but on our 1st visit the meal was fabulous, along with the service, which prompted us to book a 2nd night's meal there.... That wasn't so great, just as expensive but we were only able to choose from a much smaller menue, 4 starter dishes, only 2 main dishes, and a choice 3 desserts ! And sadly it wasn't great. However the breakfast was very good with plenty of choices, including tea, coffee and fruit juice on tap. The hotels pool, and pool bar/ coffee shop was fantastic. The room was nice, airy and relatively clean. The only exception being the rooms floor which was never cleaned/moped during our stay, which left us going to bed with dirty feet onto clean sheets. We were on a driving holiday, and parking around the hotel was an issue, however we had booked to park in the hotels underground car park, for the security of our vehicle and it's contents. The downside is the €15 per day charges, which added €75 onto our end bill.

Final remarks on Argentario location overall: in our opinion it’s best visited by boat, so if your expectation is to find long wide sand beaches, they’re not really here. The only alternative is La Feniglia natural reserve, but that implies moving by car hoping to find a parking spot - that is about 10 kms away.
