Location was great, the staff was outstanding, beds were great and we slept amazing both nights.
The service is what stood out to us the most. From the minute we arrived we were greeted and booked a full day tour with an excellent tuk tuk driver (KaKa) who loved to share his culture and we exchanged ours. The hotel also booked our mini bus for us to PP and when we were out getting coffee before our pick up… they ran over to make sure we got on. Very committed to their guests !!
I'm so happy we canceled our other booking after we didn't like that place, and came here instead. The pool was very fun on the super hot days when we stayed, and the room was spacious and luxurious. The staff was amazing and helped us with laundry as well. Thank you for having us
An absolutely beautiful area hidden off the path with extremely friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, a gorgeous pool area and clean and comfortable rooms. If I ever make it back to Battambang, I’ll definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommended!

The staff were fantastic - so helpful and kind. my husband was ill with a fever when we were there and they made him special teas and porridge. so kind.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is not located on the side of the river where the old part of town is but on the other side. This is the side you want to be on. Next to the Riverwalk which is highly entertaining in the evening.
We already stayed a few times at the resort and love to come back because of the staff, the rooms and also the restaurant offers great food for reasonable prices.
We will be back again!

Battambang is a very friendly quiet city with a few attractions that are worth seeing. We enjoyed seeing the bats exit the caves on the outside of town, but we really just enjoyed walking and discovering places and views. Definitely worth a visit. And the drive from Battambang to Siem Reap is beautiful and takes you through an ancient village which still has many old wooden houses. They were stunning. We can recommend, Jaan Bai, The Lonely Tree restaurant and Romcheik 5 Artspace and Cafe. The gallery was awesome and the cafe on the top floor was an oasis of green serving great food. Give it a try!

Battambang is more like a working town and far less touristy...
Battambang is more like a working town and far less touristy than Siem Reap. You get to see more of traditional Cambodia here but the town doesn’t have a huge selection of restaurants and bars. The bamboo train and visit to the killing caves is very good. We ate in our hotel each evening as couldn’t find anything that we wanted to go into town for as it was too far to walk. Also went to the trainee circus that trains young people who often progress to cirque du soleil which was excellent

It is a quieter place than Siem Reap and less developed but that is a bonus - some good restaurants and the Phare Circus school was great. We loved the tuktuk excursion to see how fish paste, bamboo sticky rice, rice wine and rice paper rolls were made - and of course the bat caves and the old bamboo train
