This is a great place to stay in Colombo. Beautifully designed. Big, comfortable room with great shower. The restaurant was very good with a lot of choices. The location is ideal with easy access to Galle road. The staff, including Don, Anousha, Stephan and everyone went beyond to help with all our requests and needs.

If you are a Bawa fan then of course this is a great place in a lovely area of Colombo called Cinnamon gardens. The room was clean large comfortable and unique. Breakfast was average. Do not expect any other facilities as theres nothing else at the property. It’s very much locked up at night although you can absolutely ring the caretaker who will let you in. Although I am a fan of Bawa, as an independent traveler I need more out of my accommodation.

We were only in Columbo for one night at the end of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka but wished we could have stayed here longer. We booked a suite and a double room, both of which were furnished to a very high standard. We generally like to go out and discover different restaurants but due to time we had lunch in the hotel which was Thai and Japanese. The food was so good that we had dinner there too! There are restaurants on the ground floor and also the rooftop which was lovely at night to eat under the stars. Great cocktails too.

Hands down the best place I've stayed so far in the entire region, this place is just outstanding. The room was amazing, the pool and courtyard are so lovely and relaxing, the beach is a stroll away, and I felt safe and secure. The staff are amazing, go above and beyond, truly exemplify what it is to be a gracious host. I am so impressed and will be back! Thank you to each of you!

    Great city! There's access to everything. Whatever you need, you can find it in Colombo. If you can't find it here, you probably won't find it anywhere else in Sri Lanka. Shopping can be expensive with name brands, but there are always similar quality alternatives for less.

    Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties...

    Dehiwela is very multi cultural and many differant varieties of restaurants and clothing along hill street which we stayed. people were very nice and polite to us and we felt safe even at late hours. also walking along hill street is quite a visual experience and we have done a few food crawls (like pub crawl but for food! ) along hill street. I would recommend dehiwela as a yet undiscovered gem in sri lanka with its own personality.

    Lovely town.

    Lovely town. Sri Lankan government buildings are located in this town. Citizenship and Immigration, Visa and NIC offices are here. There is also the Diyawanna Lake with board walks, bicycle routes, Parks and walk ways, perfect sceneries. Easy to get around town just by walking. About 30 minutes drive from Colombo Port City and One Galle Face Mall. About 45 minutes drive from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport.

    This 3-Level Apartment has 3 Bed Rooms and is located in a secure and convenient location in Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka. The Hosts were quite friendly and responsive to your needs. The accommodation is well-equipped for a long-term stay as well. All Appliances and Equipment were in working order. The Washing Machine helped me to travel with less clothes. The Accommodation had a separate entrance with access to the Electric Roller Door. The 3rd Level had the Laundry with access to a Roof Top terrace where clothes could be dried and having a 360 degree view of the surroundings incl. high rise buildings in Colombo.

    We really wanted to find reasons to recommend Colombo as a stop over, but whilst we found some lovely areas, it really isn't a pretty town with a quaint area to wander around. In hindsight, we should have stayed in Negombo or just headed straight from the airport to our first proper destination.

    Great place to stay in Colombo area away from city centre but close enough for easy access to city amenities, shops and restaurants. Lovely colonial era building full of charm. The terrace and pool area is unique - right on the ocean. Nothing quite like it in the Colombo area.

    Plenty to see and do even outside the usual tuk tuk tour...

    Plenty to see and do even outside the usual tuk tuk tour trail. Be creative and explore you will be amazed no matter what your budget is like. I really recommend Kensington road and the place around 5th lane. Also gall road can be safe fun and entertaining to have a bit of localness with no glamour.
