- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 1,356 reviewsI had such a wonderful experience at Labranda Hotel and I'd love to visit again. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay, from the waiters in the dining area, to the manager at the desk- great service. There's a choice of 2 pools to swim in- both nice and clean and good sizes. The slides in Aqua Park are so cool and fun. The location is really good. We walked to Jema El-Fna square a couple of times (Old City), but it does take a good 30mins - so we ended up getting a taxi there and back most times. Menara Mall is just down the road- a 10 min walk- lovely lively area with shops and restaurants. There's also a restaurant right opposite the hotel which was handy as we arrived at the hotel at 1am at night, and it was open for us to eat in. If you're into shisha, theres a nice place just a 5min walk from the hotel called Seven Marrakech :). We went all-inclusive, and the food and drinks were lovely. Plenty of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians. The bar is always open for you to get drinks at (try the moroccan tea, its really tasty!), and the area is so chilled- nice music playing, hot weather, nice view of the pool/palm trees- good vibes! At night time they'd be entertainment too which was fun- live music and dancing - you don't even need to go out of the hotel for fun!Guest review byKinzaUnited Kingdom

So happy we decided on this hotel for our family holiday. It’s definitely the only best hotel in all of Marrakech no doubt. in fact I would rate this as the one of the best in the world. The service is of the highest standard, the entire team are friendly, courteous and professional. The property itself is immaculate and our Riad is beautiful beyond words. Rabia our hostess is the best, extremely hospitable and warm. Ask for her :) And definitely ask for Emad at the breakfast restaurant as well. He is just amazing.Guest review bySherylUnited Arab Emirates

We felt welcomed immediately and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The staff booked tours, cars, dinners, and provided chargers for our electronics. The breakfast was incredible and our children looked forward to the hot cocoa and Moroccan crepes each morning. Again, we only wished that we had booked more time at this oasis.Guest review byAmyUnited States

Agafay is recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Morocco beyond the bustling cities. Just a short drive from Marrakech, Agafay offers a desert landscape with a peaceful, serene atmosphere. Whether you're looking to unwind in desert camps, ride camels across golden dunes, or enjoy a magical sunset over the vast desert, Agafay has something for everyone. The warmth and hospitality of the locals make it an unforgettable experience, and the unique blend of nature and culture creates a perfect getaway. For those seeking adventure, relaxation, or a mix of both, Agafay might be a perfect destination. I highly recommend adding it to your travel plans – it’s an authentic spot that will leave you with lasting memories.Guest review byHosseinSpain - 10.0

The hospitality and the gorgeous setting were my two favorite aspects of the Riad Jnane Imlil and the village of Imlil. The surroundings are majestic and the staff of the riad were so very warm. The food was delicious and convenient (breakfast was included, and you can purchase dinner and eat in the building). I was not feeling well from before I arrived in Imlil, and still it was a beautiful place to rest in. We had planned to do a full-day trek and have lunch with a Berber family in their home, but had to cancel due to my illness. Still, we walked around a bit in the village and that was so very pleasant. The riad had a pool and has beautiful terraces and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views from. I highly recommend this riad to anyone.Guest review byannapurnaUnited States - 10.0
Very nice city and friendly people.
Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.Guest review byMohamed Fawzi - 10.0

There's some local shops about 7 mins from the hotel, but you would need a taxi/ car to visit. Quite basic shops/coffee places for a more authentic village experience, but the main attraction is Essaouira which is a further 10 mins by car.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Marrakech is an assault on your senses.
Marrakech is an assault on your senses. It's loud, chaotic, colourful and welcoming. Beware of the bikes that fly through the Medina. It's best to walk as close to the street sides as possible and be prepared to move fast. You will do more walking than you think, comfy shoes are a must. The food is delicious; we didn't get to sample the street food but every stall was crowded of an evening. We ate at Al Baraka restaurant on our first night; a chicken and olive tagine, a veggie tagine, cous cous, olives and bread. It was exceptional and not expensive. We had a desert excursion on our second day and again had a delicious tagine. Our third night dinner was at our Riad and excellent too. Our only bad experience was one night in the Market Square. My friend had a guy brush past her three times trying to find a pocket. We made eye contact with him and he scuttled away. The Souks are an experience not to miss. We didn't feel hassled and haggling was fun. Again, so many sights and sounds. What has to be remembered is that Marrakech is still being rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of '23. There are damaged buildings and rubble and a building site to the side of the Square, but what you feel is that you're walking in the footsteps of an ancient culture. Whose history and traditions we are lucky enough to enjoy today.Guest review byBonniUnited Kingdom
