We had a very pleasant stay at the Mauad Hotel in Santo Domingo. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made us feel at ease right away. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which made it very relaxing and perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was the hotel’s own nightclub, which had excellent cocktails and a fantastic DJ – definitely a great experience. The breakfast buffet also stood out, offering a wide variety of fresh options. The view during breakfast is absolutely stunning and creates a truly amazing vacation atmosphere, complemented by the great backgroud music. I would especially like to highlight BAEZ, who was an incredibly friendly and helpful Portier. He gave us great recommendations and was always very attentive to the guests’ needs. His service truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel offers great value for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Everything was comfortable and clean....good collection of snacks and chocolates available in room for purchase. Very prompt room service. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly. Lovely pool and restaurant staff very good at providing service and bringing food and drinks to the pool. QR code stack in the room with useful links. Massage available as additional add on too. Close to lot of restaurants.

Proximity to the airport – seemed to be the closest and nicest hotel nearby the airport. It's especially close to Terminal 3 (very short walking distance) and just a bit further from Terminal 2 & 4. We arrived at night to Terminal 2 and still took a short taxi ride to get to the hotel. They also have free shuttles for you to get to the terminals after you leave. Great breakfast – fresh fruits, fresh tacos, fresh omelettes. And just nice atmosphere in general – spacious reception with super high ceilings, nice rooftop pool area, gym, comfy rooms etc.

My sincere sincere grattitude and thanks to the entire team. From reception to the extreme kind and service orianted ladies from the Housekeeping that even offered and helped me to wash my personal clothes. Also a very very special serious thanks to Ricardo from the Restaurant at the Rooftop that served me fresh brewed black coffee before 07:00 AM actual breakfast opening. Ricardo and his team cooked every single day the perfect steaks, iced frozen coconut lemonades, salads and more. He always checked in on me and ensured i am taken care off without an exception. I highley reccomend the food in this Hotel and just for the record i'm a Professional Chef that worked in 2x 1 star Michelin Restaurants in Switzerland and Amsterdam. Also and as usual a very special thanks to the people of Cartagena & Colombia. We could learn a lot about their culture. They're humble grounded as in, in balance with earth. They are extremely hospitable and make foreigners feel more than welcome. Thanks again and i promise to be back in person to say hi again as a sign of grattitude to the entire team.

room was spacious light and had the basic things we needed. We liked the location because everything was close, the hotel has 2 buildings.

Out of all the hotels we stayed in Colombia, this was BY FAR the very best one!! It is so modern and has everything you need and more! The pool area is super nice, we loved the gym, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast buffet, it was absolutely fantastic :) The employees were also extremely nice and always very ready to help with anything. When I come back to Cartagena, I will definitely stay here!

The hotel is in the perfect location with large rooms and clean, the staff here are very nice people and helpful, I would 100% recommend staying here and I look forward to returning here in the future 😀

Super clean, perfect internet, this is going to be my go to hotel when I’m traveling to Santo Domingo

The hotel is very near the ADO station and I arrived almost midnight and was greeted by very nice staff and even got an upgrade for my room. The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend.

As a hotel manager I can tell that everything is perfect at this place ! Front desk people housekeeping staff waiters and waitresses at the pool bar are just amazing. Not a big fan of Barranquilla but definitely would recommend this hotel for whoever wants/need to come out here.

Amen to everything, everything was in the best order and more. We had the best food and a magnificent view and our suite was almost right on the beach. The staff was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the staff hospitality, small gestures and thoughtful decor. A lot of effort has gone into making your experience special from the moment you arrive. Front desk and restaurant staff were fabulous!!!

I like everything about hotel. The was big. The pool was big plus for hot days. The salon and breakfast area was historical and ND brought good memories. The decoration brought good memories. I will stay again and again at this place.

The hotel was easy to.find from.Isla ferry which is a bit of a distance, but very close to.airport! The staff allowed me to.store my luggage as it was an.early check in. If early enough in day, a few gas stations, mini marts & a taco place within a 10 min walk. The restaurant was not open ( not sure why). I was also able to.use the pool for early check in. The room was fabulous. 100% squeaky clean, great shower products, super comfortable beds with crisp sheets. AC, WIFI & TV worked great. Bottled water, coffee & tea. Perfect for my one night stay to get to the airport. They arranged a 5:30 AM shuttle which showed up on time & a great driver.

Facilities in the hotel were great - the pool area was clean , good for kids and there was a bar beside it . It’s a great hotel for a short stay in Santo Domingo or business trip unfortunately the city of Santo Domingo needs a lot of investment and development to make it feel safe for tourists.
